  • You have to pay for EVERYTHING

I get alerts all the time but what’s the point if I have to pay for a subscription to see the whole thing? I’d rather just look up what happened on Google.

App now demands disclosure of your phone number to use— with no way to bypass this requirement. Disappointing for a public safety app, as there is no legitimate reason for the app to make this a non-negotiable requirement, other than to sell user data. It is my sincere hope the developers will reconsider this position for future updates, as the app has excellent potential for vital public safety information.
  • Latest update

I hate this new update. Catch up is a stupid idea. Go back to notifying me of events in a timely manner. Why don’t I get any notifications of what is going on any longer. I have premium and since the update I’m getting less information. I liked the app before. Not happy.

I DO NOT LIKE THE FACT YOU HAVE TO PAY TO SEE SEX OFFENDERS IN ANY AREA SHOULD BE FREE IM DEFINITELY DELETING THE APP
  • No added benefit

Watch duty and Pulse point will notify you faster and with more accurate data for absolutely free. Do not give these clowns your money. You can also look up registered offenders FOR FREE on a .gov website, absolutely no reason to use this app. Rampant misinformation being commented/streamed. Save your time and money and just get the the mentioned products instead.
  • These devs only know how to break things

Every app update these fools break something significant with this app. They also refuse to listen to customer feedback. This is why I stopped paying — not worth it AT ALL. Interact with the map in this latest version … the incident list disappears and you can’t get it back. Just pathetic how they can’t even be bothered to test basic functionality before releasing an update. Or, worse, maybe this is expected behavior which makes zero sense whatsoever from a UI/UX perspective. Either way, what a joke.
  • UI Team is drunk

I swear, each update they make the UI worse and remove features. You used to be able to zoom out and see a list view of incidents near you, and they removed that in favor of these terrible bubbles
  • Great idea but poorly done!

Always incorrect info, abandoned posts with no follow-ups, and false reports. Sometimes no posts for serious incidents. Also they spy on your phone. An acquaintance of mine used to work for Citizen and told me they track without permission, and keep data on how you use your phone - including banking apps.
  • This is useless!

My app isn’t working and it glitches so much! This isn’t free either and it’s not telling me if it was or not.
  • make it so we don’t have to pay to see past incidents

The app is fairly helpful overall, but I find it frustrating that users are required to pay to access past incidents. My family would like to stay informed and catch up on what happened, but they are unable to do so because this information is locked behind a paywall.
