App is in black and white. No color

After a couple of years I’ve finally gotten the desktop version. I wish I didn’t. No changing the themes. Radar often freezes and had to be re-opened. I LOVE my iOS and iPad versions though.

Huge fan of Carrot for iOS. This is not that. The Mac app just is not very good. I tried using the iPad app on macOS but that crashes and hangs constantly. I wish Carrot on macOS was as good as iOS but it’s just not worth it. An update once a year kind of tells me that the Mac is not a priority.

Overall not bad, just disappointing coming from the iOS experience, and not worth the price tag considering this. Very limited options in general, especially compared to iOS app. I’m also unsure why it’s visually so different from the iOS app. The menu bar pop-up window is especially half-hearted—it’d be better if clicking it just popped up the main window. As is, it makes reading the daily weather line unhelpful. Ultimately, you’re better off using the stock macOS Weather app, or maybe (if you’re on an M-series Mac) using the iPad version of the app.

Won’t open. Hasn’t been updated in a year. Sad

The developer will say that native Apple Silicon support will come to the desktop app on Reddit for years. He even added a prompt within the iOS app that says that the new version is out with native support and to download now, and then said that was accidentally put into the app preemptively. This was nearly a 2 years ago - I think Carrot bot took over the dev, and he’s just trolling us at this point. To keep selling this app when it crashes instantly on load with Apple Silicon, but doesn’t limit compatibility is a crime. Was a huge supporter of this app for years - but this is just sad.

Hi. please update more frequently. please add native macos widgets. do it or i’ll send my rabbit to devour you. 👻🐝 🐝

I already paid for the app, why do i need to pay more to unlock any map features? this is just too much!

It's disappointing that Carrot doesn't support widgets in the sidebar on macOS, so I'm stuck using a widget from the default weather app instead.
