  • Glitching over and over

    If you go in and out of the app or spend too long doing questions it just doesn’t save your progress in a block. You have to go back and redo the questions. This is not some kind of banking app that needs to be this secured to be kicking you out every few minutes like this.

    I don’t know what’s been going on lately with this app but its super glitchy. Images refuse to load, screen gets frozen over and i see the same question despite hitting next, unable to submit exam due to “error.”

  • Add Definitions

    Would be the perfect studying tool for the NCLEX if they didn’t use only medical terms with no way to look up definitions on the app ruins the flow of studying and note taking when I constantly have to stop the video to look up what I don’t understand

    Why so dramatic about screenshots? No one is going to steal the material over this platform. I’m taking a screenshot to show a tricky question to a friend, who will be more likely to use uworld afterwards. Shooting yourselves in the foot.

  • Error while submitting review

    UWorld content is helpful, I’ve used it over multiple years as the primary study tool for STEP 1-3 and shelf exams. But I have to say I’m disappointed in the app’s functionality for on-the-go studying. The amount of times I’ve had issues with my answers not being saved if I start an untimed question block on the app, then later try to finish it on a web browser (or vice-versa), is baffling. I started using the app in 2023 — it’s now 2025 and I’m still getting “error while submitting test” when I try to suspend, and more often than not. Please fix it one of these years.

  • Too clunky to highlight

    Highlighting is a two step process on the mobile app. Very tedious to select text and then hit highlight after that. This is not a unified, streamlined experience. This simply makes the mobile experience inferior to the desktop/browser one.

  • Worse than before

    Buggy, prone to quitting in the middle of a quiz, and same old unintuitive interface. Good thing they have a captive audience that needs the app for only a short time for exam prep.

  • Not a truly “mobile” app

    While this app is great for studying on your phone, it lacks truly “mobile” capabilities because it does not work offline. Even if you lose connection for a moment, there will be an error when submitting or suspending your exam, and as a result you can lose all your progress. Additionally, when offline the exhibits, such as images you need to answer the questions, don’t show up. This is an inferior product to Amboss which allows you to download question sets to your device, including more than 40 at a time. The good folks at UWorld probably don’t do this because they are so worried about their proprietary information getting stolen (the need to constantly log in is probably responsible for the problem with interrupted service). Oh well, Amboss has better questions and knowledge bank anyway.
