  • AI scoring does not work

The AI scoring is extremely unreliable. I recommend using point by point scoring only.

Very good software to record your games and improve your pickleball games! The only con is the subscription!

after update, the app doesn’t recognize watch, batter to wait for next update before you subscribe.

I’ve been using since inception - very disappointed. Don’t need new watch. Is there a workaround?
  • Buggy start and link to watch

More than half the time the start button from the watch does nothing and you end up playing a whole set or a couple of sets and figure out that the watch start button didn’t do anything very buggy app concept is good but very poor execution
  • Hard to share videos

Basic functions are not very intuitive. E.g. when attempting to share a video with a friend, The app takes 15 minutes to prepare the video and then offer a message icon. The file is too large to message… if you use the stick, the confirmation prompts pops up right in the middle where the bracket is.
  • Works, sometimes

App crashes and loses my video often. Misidentifies points often so stats are not usable. Correcting even game scores is clunky and basically takes longer than if I just trimmed the video myself. Good for storing video uploads if it saves
  • Max Subscriber Who Can’t Use Swingvision

I pay for a max subscription for my job as a tennis coach however for over two weeks I have not been able to use the app. The response from Swingvision is very slow and the update that needs to happen to fix the problem is even slower. Have been using Swingvision for many years. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and not fixing the problem for a paying customer.

One thing this app does really well is remove the space between points. However, the biggest problem is as soon as someone signs up and give you a 30 day trial and then put you into a $129 annual fee. The AI is supposed to label each shot as top spin backspin or flat and it fails miserably at doing this with Pickleball. It just calls everything a flat shot. Unfortunately, even though my playing partners and me were wearing different color, shirts and pants and hats, out of 28/3 shot drops attributed to me eight of them were actually my partner. Every third shot was called a drive regardless of whether it was a drop or drive. Additionally all of them are called flat even though virtually every third shot is hit with top spin regardless of whether it’s a drive or a drop. There’s a lot of potential here, but I’m not an investor in this project. If this was a great product, maybe their model works, but I think even for people that have the money to spend the force subscription chases them away. It seems rather shortsighted to me. Limits video to HD even if your phone can do 4k. I think the lower quality video may be partly to blame for the bad ai processing. Doesn’t keep score accurately. Maybe it gets better and maybe the 4k version is better. I used for pickleball and I sense that this may actually just be a tennis app that is trying to make money off pickleball but not doing it honestly. Seriously it doesn’t know spin and can’t tell a drop from a drive.
