Simple and easy to navigate and understand where the trails are at. Topo Map is not overly detailed which I prefer. Next update needs an option to make a custom route. If you’re just starting out download multiple trail apps to find trails that don’t pop up on here and keep that one as secondary for those missing trails when looking around in that area you’re in.

If you like biking this app is a must have. It’s fantastic on road trips too!! The fee version is really fair and they don’t push the paid version too much like some other apps.

Have enjoyed using Trailforks for several years now. It is my go to source for seeking out new trails and getting updates, when available, on my regular spots.

Better than AllT____s in every respect. From the desktop, ALL trail data is available for free, and free version of app supports download/offline use of trails in local area. With subscription, download/offline use is unlimited. Both the website and phone app have very polished, easy-to-use interfaces. I’ve been using it for years and highly recommend.
  • Paywalled community data

Community members spent years cultivating trail data which Outside now has aggressively paywalled. Shame.
  • The best mountain bike app out there

While there is def a bit of a learning curve with jt and it can be quite granular, this is by far the best MTB app out there. Very useful and helpful for discovering and learning new trails. This app has helped me volunteer in trail maintenance by posting signage, and also lets you provide feedback on trail co sir ions and names. Great work TrailForks team! 🙏🙏🙏❤️
