    After trying several different apps for organizing recipes, I found this one. I can’t even begin to say how much I love it. I have always collected recipes, and have wanted to organize them for quite some time. This is going to be a huge job, due to the amount of recipes I have collected, but Recipe Keeper is going to make it a lot easier.

    I spent a good bit of time last night adding recipes. I do like the way it works especially the ability to add the stack of printed recipes I have been saving. Unfortunately when I attempted to sync with my husband’s phone I realized that I would have to buy another pro membership for his phone. I guess I should read the fine print more closely. It should be stated clearly that syncing with another user will require a separate account.

    This app is fantastic at what it does! It’s SO good and so easy to use. Best thing is the developers. They’re obviously in tune with their product and constantly working to make it better. I’ve had the app for YEARS and it continuously improves. Every time I wish it could do something better, it does. I hate apps that make it apparent they are not focused on the end-user and making products that are user-friendly for the consumer. Recipe keeper is NOT that. It’s simple and the functions make it so easy to use without sacrificing any of the quality functionality that you would want in a really good app. I really love the customization and filtering options. I wouldn’t trade this app for any others out there. I don’t leave a lot of reviews but this one is so good that I felt I had to share my experience! On a side note I made an app suggestion and I’m pretty sure the developers made it happen! ☺️ They definitely responded and it’s so cool to see those changes being made in real time. I can’t say enough good things about this one!

    I’m obsessed. I couldn’t be happier with the versatility and customization options in this app. I finally have all my recipes in one location!! It’s all in the details for me….the app causes my iPad’s screen timeout to disable, so I don’t have to wake it up every time I look away for 20 seconds or whatever it is. You know those annoying but wonderful recipe websites full of text and ads?? Ha! Recipe Keeper pulls that one tiny bit that you actually want to see (the RECIPE!!) right out and displays it in an organized, ad-free layout. I highly recommend this app. I rarely write reviews, but this app deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.

    This is absolutely such a useful app and makes cooking so much easier!!! I love that you can import recipes from other websites and blogs and this app will remove all the narrative and pop-up ads and just give you the actual recipe. I also love that you can sort the recipes into whatever categories you want. I LOVE THIS APP. Thank you for making it!!!

    Not going to lie, I really liked the app, easy to use with my dyslexia. I could copy a recipe I liked straight from the site and it fill in automatically. I was able to change the serving size and the recipe modify the ingredients. I could later, after saving, click on the link if I wanted to watch a attached video. My only problem with this app after 20 recipes they won’t let you add more unless you pay. Unfortunately I will be looking for another app to use. If you are okay with paying, this app is great would have given it 5 stars for everything else.

    I read the reviews on this before downloading and so many started with “Wow!” I decided to get the free version first to check it out. I most definitely agree that “WOW” is the perfect word to describe my experience. It took me all of 1 day to upgrade to the paid version. I’m very picky about what apps I’m willing to spend money on, but this one is worth every penny and more!!!!! This app was so thoughtfully designed!!!! Everything I wanted to use a recipe app for was already there. My family meal planning needs to include accommodations for both medical conditions and picky eaters, so it’s always been a struggle for me. This app makes my life so much easier!!! It’s so much more than just a place to store all of my family’s favorite recipes. The meal planning and grocery list creation are game changing!!!! It allows my husband and I to spit tasks with ease to accommodate our schedules and chore preferences. Great job on this app!!! I’ve already recommended it to family and friends!!

    I looked at SO MANY apps like this one and just kept running into expensive subscriptions and they were always missing important features. I wanted an app that I could save recipes on, meal plan, make grocery lists, and share with my husband. This has all of that and it is a one time purchase!!! Amazing! I tried it for a day and then bought the full version on mine and my husband’s phone then signed into my account on his phone. There have been no issues with syncing (even between apple and android). I feel like this app deserves a thorough review so here’s what I love and a suggestion after a month of using this app: LOVE: - No subscription! Just purchase on all devices you want to share with (which honestly, if you think about it it’s worth it for all the money a subscription adds up to after a long time). - Add recipes directly from a website. This app does amazingly well pulling information from websites! I have been very impressed. It hardly ever misses anything. - Meal planning! I love that I can plan my meals for the week and make a grocery list from the recipes. - Grocery list! I can add ingredients to my list from any recipe and type in custom things. You can also sort them into categories. This feature does need some work though (see my suggestion). - Theme! There are lots of colors to pick and you can change to dark mode. - Add recipes from a photo or scan pdf. I haven’t used this yet but it’s a cool feature and I plan to! - Can make cookbooks. I haven’t used this yet either but also cool feature. - so much customization ability. - Shareable between devices. My husband and I use this together so we can both add groceries and see what dinner is for the day. I just had to buy it on his phone and sign in to my account! SUGGESTION : -The grocery list becomes very chaotic and disorganized after adding items from several meals. It needs some tweaking. This is really my only issue with this app. I wish I could add ingredients without the measurements for some things. Like spices for example. I am not going to buy 1/4 tsp of garlic powder, I’m going to buy a jar of it. It makes sense for meats or produce since you usually need to know the amount or weight e.g. (1 lb chicken breast or 2 avocados). The other issue is that when you have several repeating items from different meals, it adds them separately and usually not next to each other since it sorts the items in each category by number/alphabetically I think. Due to this, I have to go in and search for each repeat, then add the total amount of the ingredient, then delete the repeats. Shopping would be a disaster if I didn’t do this. I am not sure what the best way to fix this would be. Maybe adding a separate tab within each recipe during the recipe creation process where you can list grocery items how you would like them to appear on the list then maybe it would be easier for the list to detect repeats and add them together? There is maybe a better way but that is what I can think of. Overall great app! I definitely recommend getting it! I plan on using it for years to come!
