Works pretty well. Wish I could assign items to shops but otherwise everything else breaks out well.
  • Great for both groceries and toiletries/makeup

This is an amazing app that isn’t talked about enough. I’ve used it for years to track my grocery inventory, but only recently realized I could also use it for toiletries, home items, and makeup too. Basically anything with an expiration where you want to make sure you know how much is left at home and when to use it by. Also I love the grocery store “ding” when you scan new items in - a nice little touch. Also I’ve been using Free perfectly fine - no annoying or intrusive ads, just an item limit. I’ve done a trial of the free and it seemed good too. The only things that would make it better: 1. Make an Android version (please). I recently switched to an Android version and am super sad there isn’t a Pantry Check for it. 2. It would be AWESOME if PantryCheck could suggest recipes based on what’s currently in your inventory (similar to SuperCook). Recipe apps like Paprika are awesome, and they have a sort of pantry tracker, but it’s very bare bones. If the two integrated that would be perfect.

I like this as a full time single father. Easy to see what I need to buy on the next trip. I just wish there was an update to add suggestions from other products on the app in that AI generated grocery list.

I will gladly change this if I’m wrong on how the app works but first let me say I love the functionality of it and it really does have the best inventory! I ONLY wish you could print your grocery list out… please tell me that functionality is coming. And if it’s there…I’ll come back and change this to a 5⭐️

I have OCD and with how expensive foods are nowadays, I love having the ability to know everything in my kitchen and storage so I’m be sure to use what I have first!
  • Not what I was looking for

I was just looking for an app that would allow me to store a list of the things I typically buy at the grocery store, then use that list to create a shopping list of what I currently need. This does not do that. It seems overly focused on what is on hand and when it “spoils”, no matter what it is, like paper towels or laundry detergent. After “spoiling” an item you created, it’s gone and you cannot bring it back up to add to a new list. You have to create the item again from scratch. Very disappointing.
  • Hard to use

I have a problem storing some items where I want them. And, the items that I manage to get where I want it then it‘s hard to add to the total number of each item. I love the idea of this app, but it’s hard to use.

This app isn’t just great for grocery inventory; you can catalog cleaning material, vitamins and cosmetics. Truly anything you want. There are so many options for added details and the ability to add your own cover photos.
  • No support?

Based on the description and the somewhat reasonable privacy policy, I was looking forward to using this app. I had a question on importing nearly a thousand items, found nothing in the user guide, and wrote to their feedback link over two weeks ago, but never heard back.

I was shocked at how quickly this app was able to search for and identify each item I scanned. Truly a marvel of technology. Very happy with the ease of navigation and adding new items on the fly. Makes communication with my household about our current inventory really simple and efficient too. For the price of the extended subscription I believe I’m getting a great amount of value - 2,000 covers all of my needs.
