I have a hard time finding trash and other folders like in another email account. I only went to oulook because I had too many emails that I didn’t sign up for. I use outlook for family and friends.
  • Everything that Outlook on PC is

Reasonable mobile version of the desktop Outlook. The constant niggling of Copilot to adopt a less professional tone is the biggest reason for a poor rating.
  • The worst email, calendar and contacts app I’ve ever used

Horrible interface. Super hard to switch between an email and the calendar to check your availability. Contacts are nearly impossible to search in a direct way. Everything about this app is backwards and hard to use. I’ve been using desktop outlook for 20 years. It does the job well. This is an huge leap backwards. Furthermore, the latest update in late August 2024 has taken an inferior UI and somehow made it even worse. I don’t get how the summary rating is 4.8 stars when there are so many negative reviews like mine. I hope and pray that my company switches to a different mobile solution.

  • 1 star until you fix signatures in replies on iOS

This app is great in a lot of ways. Too bad there is no easy way to insert a signature while replying to a message in this app—at least for iOS, I am unsure whether this problem affects other platforms like iPadOS All documentation I could find across Microsoft’s support forums dismisses the problem on iOS or offers steps detailing how to insert signatures in replies … for other platforms 🙄. This review will get 4 stars when Microsoft fixes the above problem, and 5 stars when Microsoft allows you to add custom sounds for notifications. The default sounds become annoying to listen to after a while.
  • No RSS folder support

RSS feedsarea great way to get updates from a website without having to give them your email. In the outlook app on windows, one can create an RSS folder fora website where every new article from that site automatically goes to that folder. It’s one of the best outlook features. If you leave the windows computer on, this folders sync with the server and they are accessible from the browser outlook interface. The same folders show in the iOS outlook app but their content is never downloaded. No idea why.
