  • Just needs a lot of help

Unable to build playlist from filtering favorites. Difficult to download favorites on a new device Recommendations are not based on your favorites. No way to pick a few songs and have it build a playlist based on the three song “mood” Managing the play queue is nonexistence. Something seems broken with trying to bring up current artist. Long overdue for Qobuz connect. Maybe open the api so others can do it for you?
  • Not worthy at least for me

Only good thing is slightly louder in my car speakers but on other devices like regular speakers is the same for the other apps i have. no matter the phone i use, I dont get recommendations of what I listen all day long every day because i work driving. Not artists i like and most of my favorites song are not on the platform even artists. Very disappointed in loosing my money like this when spotify or others app offers less volume but more variety and they have everything i liked, not even my weekly playlist is of music i liked. Disappointed. For me this is a 1 star but i am not slamming with the hammer.

I’ve been with Tidal for quite a while and will not say the sound quality wasn’t there, was rather inconsistent, varying from song to song, album to album. I was even resolved in the thinking that the sometimes lower sonic quality was equipment dependent. But Qobuz proved me wrong from the first song after signing up, up to now. It’s a rather balanced sound where every frequency is almost equally represented. I am still experimenting with combination streamer/dac/amp. Hopefully I will find a definitive footing in my search of sonic bliss.
  • Great content and quality of music format, buggy interface

While I am enjoying using this app, there’s no doubt it is regularly buggy and crashes regularly. The software still needs more refinement and debugging
  • Current App layout or format is terrible

Do not like the new way library is arranged. It’s terrible, takes so many clicks and so much searching just to get to the music I want to play. Very unintuitive. Also app keeps just stopping and must be rest. Very unhappy and guess I will switch services. Sound quality is still good…when the app doesn’t randomly quit.
  • Qobuz is way better than Spotify

The quality difference is worth the slightly higher price than Spotify.
  • Good app but if I’m paying 15 dollars it needs to be smooth not glitchy or freeze

  • Best Music Quality With Horrible User Experience

Qobuz Review I hear this compared to every other streaming platform, and it does sound the best with my DAC. However, the CarPlay experience is awful when compared to Apple Music, or other platforms like YouTube music. There's no "Hey Siri, play Somg by Artist" support yet, which means navigating a mostly confusing menu due to no filters beyond favorites, or purchased music. There's no shuffle at all for playlists, or albums, or artists. This is made worse because there's no alphabetized sorting in the CarPlay menu whatsoever, or rather, ANY sorting. I also have gripes with the recommendation feed on the home screen being less personalized than other platforms I've tried. Most of the time I got recc's for entirely different genres despite my filters being applied, and a bunch of headings for new music I'm not interested in that's been released by mainstream artists I'm not even aware of. Maybe make a seperation of personalized feeds and artist promotions? I found it annoying that anything downloaded never got automatically added to my library. If I download a song, the song and the artist should be added by default. Why are these seperated? It makes the bare bones CarPlay experience worse as downloads are grouped into a single tab, and aren't sorted. Favorites should be seperated as their own filterable label, be it a favorite artist, album, or song. Anything that becomes a favorite should immediately be added the library, both the artist and song. Anything added to the lirbrary should be added to my library, with the option to favorite it after the fact if I REALLY like that song in particular. As of now that 💛 button is the same thing as adding something my library. Same thing with artists. If I add a song from an artist, let me favorite that artist seperately if I love that artist far more than the others I'll have in my library as music keeps getting added. I also didn't like that if I added an album, NONE of the songs were added to the library. That was super confusing to me when I was going through my library searching for specifc songs, knowing I added an entire album and yet they didn't show up. That means I have to add EVERY song individually. And again, there's no seperation between a favorited song and a song that you add to the library. What if I add an album, and love 6/12 tracks a lot more than the others? Why can't I just add the album, which should automatically add the 12 tracks, and then I can favorite those 6 tracks myself? Also, given that high quality music at the best possible lossless stream, topping every other competitor (it's the best I've listnened to), it amazes me that there's no automatic download option for ANY song or album that is added to my library. If I add it, do me a favor and immediately download it in the quality I have selected for Wi-Fi or cellular downloads. And please add it to my library in the process, including the artist. Simply put, the user experience is far more dumbed down, not the same as other competitors, with Apple Music being the abslutle king of automation, library management, organization, and CarPlay experience. Until you improve your app's CarPlay experience, add Siri support, and make much needed library management/quality of life automation integrations and ovethauls, I'm sticking to Apple Music and will not be returning to Qobuz. The user experience is simply better in every way there, and very satisfying to use. It's a shame to me, because your music platform sounds the best out of them all, and I want to listen here. But your service is bogged down by a far inferior and frustrating user interface, functionality, and awful CarPlay interface. I'll give you my money if these are addressed, especially because you pay artists the most of any platform, which I think is amazing.

Coming from Apple Music, I decided to try qobuz as not only do they pay artists more than other streaming sites, but they also have high quality streaming without the cost of Tidal. The only thing I cannot stand about this app is there is no eq. In my opinion, it ruins almost all the music as it sounds super flat. If an eq of some sort was added, it would be worth keeping my subscription. (lyrics would also be appreciated along with actual recommendations rather than random songs)
