  • Needs More Music

I like a non-facist music app so I moved from Spotify. However, they are severely lacking in music options. Medium-popular artists are hard to find! A LOT of the music I want to listen to is not available and it’s crazy because they aren’t niche artists. They really need to expand their catalogue.
  • Great Alternative to Spotify

I’ve been using Spotify since I was a teenager- so like a decade at this point, but after a lot of recent shenanigans I didn’t want to support them anymore. I was really apprehensive about switching platforms but I gotta say im already pretty impressed with this app. The audio quality is significantly better than Spotify. It literally feels like listening to songs for the first time again. There are some things about Spotify that I miss, like artist mixes, and some of my more niche artists, but I’m much happier supporting this company.
  • glitches and takes up a lot of storage

just switched from spotify to Qobuz. I love how it let me transfer my music but why does it take up more storage than Spotify??? It also glitches out a lot. I dont like how there isn’t a random shuffle play button. Also it would be cool if they had a button to see the lyrics of the song

Switched over from spotify due to ethical concerns. Love the app but it is very lacking. You cant see the lyrics to the songs, the “for you” section is not very personalized, and everything is a little slow to run. I do miss some songs I had on spotify too, but i have no doubt this app will flourish with time- especially with the new wave of customers switching.

Why purchase streaming music services that don’t pay the artist adequately? That’s a shame! Art makes our lives, rich and beautiful, and the people who created deserve to be supported. “Qobuz is the only solution, they are an ethical company that pays their artist the most out of any other platform and they have a massive music selection with amazing audio sound. This is the only way to go! Quobuz forever!!!!!

Can’t beat the audio quality of Qobuz or just how much they actually care about the artist and music as a whole. Want to own your music? They have a download store too! Great design, great function, just overall the top tier music app Spotify users used to dream of before it got sucked into the capitalistic AI fever dream hellscape.

I signed up for the free trial off the website. There was no prompt to download the app so I went to App Store and got it. I used the same email to sign into app. It didn’t recognize my email as having an account and quoted me a higher price per month than the website. Dont want two accounts and two charges. No thanks.

would love to be able to mute certain artists, change playlist covers, and add folders for better organization. other than that, great sound quality.

This app certainly needs some polishing and refinement, and I do firmly believe that it’s going to quickly get there. Not only was my mind blown, realizing how we’ve all been tricked into listen to trash quality music through other stream services, but this company does not openly fund The genocide of Palestinians and funnel profits into AI, surveillance technology and weaponry. In addition to that it pays its artist more and I love the fact you could actually buy and have the music for yourself and also support the artist. Unlike other streaming services, which offer “ Off-line availability “but when I’m out in the middle of the desert with no service, for some reason, I can’t listen to the music even though it’s downloaded and taking space on my devices. I believe that this platform can be used as an example for the standard bare minimum of what artists and music lovers deserve.

Recently switched to Qobuz and I’m blown away at the sound quality of music. They’re trick? Nothing. They apparently don’t do tamper with the track’s quality when received, and you can hear it. Also, artist payout per stream is one of the highest - by far - of any available streaming service. Sure there could be a couple Improvements here and there, but they’ve shown me no reason to believe that their listeners won’t be heard - and they’ll try to already enhance the best music streaming experience possible for its community. Highly recommend! Excited to see the community grow.
