    I really liked that I could use it for free. Running a non profit & doing animal transport it was great to get cost of gas. Than you decided to charge for everything no thank I will delete 59.99 a year is a cat spay/neuter or rabies shots food for a low income family.

  • Auto renews, I got zero warning

    This will auto renew, even though I was not aware when I initially signed up that it was an auto renewal. I saw the same day it popped up on my credit card, but it does not allow for you to request a refund charged today. That is total garbage and I cannot recommend.

  • Where are the oddities?

    Years ago I would plan one leg of my trip at a time for free and my only requisite was “Oddities”. I found some marvelous oddities: “The Grave in the Middle of the Road”, “The Two-Story Outhouse”, “The Grave of the Birdman of Alcatraz”, “The Smallest City Block in the World”, “The Chapel of the WWII Italian POWs”, and so many more. But “Oddities” in this version are either deeply hidden in a menu-maze or missing altogether. It is with great sadness that I delete this app.

    One of the best apps I have used for road trips! It gave us lots of great options, great sites to see and you can add more if you see an item is not listed to make it easier even better. My sister introduced me to this app and I am so grateful! It made our last roadtrip so easy and memorable, one we will never forget.

    I understand this was the plan the entire time, but to offer something for free to people for so long and then to take it away and monetize it is evil and the quickest way to turn people off from your app. I recommended this app to so many people for so long, and I will obviously not be doing that anymore. I will be telling people not to use it. You’re profiting off of users’ submissions. The users are the ones who make this app what it is. And monetizing it is your quickest way to a failed app that no one is gonna wanna use anymore. All the stops will become outdated (they already are - now it will be worse). Very unethical. I hope everyone stops using Roadtrippers ☺️🤞

    This is my first time posting an app review which speaks volumes. In 2023 the app was $35 for ALL features. In 2024 $50 PAYWALL that affects usability of the app. In 2025 Another $60 paywall again. Same issue and with no additional features. Can’t even plan a simple trip without spending $60. Save your money and use Google or Apple maps for free
