    I filed the beginning of January its April i did everything i was supposed to and i still haven’t received my refund, i will never ever use this app again

    I did my whole tax return and never used the stupid expert tax help but they want to charge me so I have to do it from scratch again. In the beginning they show expert tax help 59 and below start for free. Extremely misleading assuming hitting start for free would be free. Instead you need to hit see other options, which shows you a chart with no clear indication on how to change. Have to go to the bottom and hopefully notice you can it select there. Didn’t see it for multiple times. Could have just allowed you to select between them all on the first screen but want you to go through it all and hopefully buy for a service you never used. Will never recommend again. Going to try free tax usa since I need to start anyway. Terrible update.

    USE CASH APP TAX FILING! AMAZING!!!! On to the turbo tax review-Every 5-6 minutes of using turbo tax, they trickle in fees. Constantly bombard you with plan upgrade option throughout your entire experience. I don’t make a lot of money. 1/3 of it went to the government. Turbo tax wants 183 dollars for me to file my taxes myself and do all the work. I remember when I was able to do it for just 25 dollars. Back when company’s like this didn’t use tactics like hiding the cost behind the painful process of doing your taxes. I cannot afford to give you my entire tax refund. I will NEVER, use this service again. You people are some of the most disgusting, vile and evil people. Share holders must make more this year huh? You’ve added NOTHING and demanded 7x more money. And want my entire refund. Just for letting me do it myself. You people are not something worthy of being vomited on. I’ll save that for the toilet. USE CASH APP TAX FILING!!!! ITS AMAZING AND FREE!!!! UNINSTALL TURBOTAX AND DO YOUR TAXES FOR FREE EITH CASH APP.

    Nothing about my return is complicated. Turbo tax hides ways to lower fees on purpose trying to get you to stay on higher price (it hides options that are lower price on purpose which is evil). Not only that they charge $40 extra on top of $300 just to direct deposit your refund. This company needs to go bankrupt under. Will never use turbo tax again in my life.

    Took me almost an hour to figure out how to enter 2025 estimated tax payments that I had made. At no point was I asked about estimated tax payments that I had made. After searching online, I learned that it was buried deep in a section named credits and deductions, which was not presented because I used standard deduction. Also, very difficult to avoid the traps of continued upsell attempts.

    This company is a joke. They lure you in with 'Free Edition' marketing, but after you spend hours entering your data, they hold your return hostage for $200. It’s pure extortion. Demanding that kind of money just to click 'submit' is insane, especially when there are better, free alternatives out there. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these greedy vultures.

    TurboTax is old news!! Go to freetaxusa and file if you have simple taxes!! Even if you have complex taxes they’re still SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than TurboTax. I used to stand by TurboTax but now they’re charging way too much and it’s basically impossible to get the “free” filing option. FreeTaxUsa still pulled all my info from last year and I could upload documents the same as TT. Abandon this money grubbing company!!!
