Description

Know what’s happening at home from wherever you are with Ring Video Doorbells, Security Cameras and Alarm systems, and Smart Lights. Ring Doorbells and Cameras can send you instant alerts when someone’s at your door or motion is detected. Keep an eye on what matters with live HD video and greet visitors with Two-Way Talk. With a Ring Home Plan subscription (or free trial), you can review, save, and share Ring videos. Ring Smart Lights let you control and schedule lighting easily. Some models can even notify you about motion nearby, and trigger other compatible Ring devices to record. Ring Alarm systems let you monitor entrances and indoor spaces, and detect certain safety hazards. Enroll in Ring Alarm Professional Monitoring* (compatible Ring Home Plan subscription required) to request dispatch of emergency responders when your Ring Alarm is triggered. Whether you’re halfway around the world or just out shopping , with Ring, you’re always home. Professional Monitoring is an add-on plan that first requires a compatible Ring subscription. Both sold separately. Service available within the U.S. (all 50 states, but not U.S. territories) and in Canada (excluding Quebec). Ring does not own its monitoring center. Smoke and carbon monoxide monitoring is not available for business or commercially zoned addresses. See Ring Alarm licenses at: ring.com/licenses. Additional fees may be required for permits, false alarms, or Alarm Verified Guard Response, depending on your local jurisdiction. What you can do with the Ring app: - Get real-time doorbell and motion alerts on your smartphone or tablet - See and speak with visitors with HD Video and Two-Way Talk - Get real-time alerts when your Alarm sensors are triggered

Why are my notifications of a person at my door coming a day late?

In the past, my subscription would cover any footage. I wanted to watch it lapsed due to a card expiring when I renewed at the same rate I now get less options to review videos in the past not appreciated.

Sometimes it works then it doesn’t. Doesn’t always connect to phone remotely. Tired of it!
  • Works reasonably well; annoying pop-ups

Does what it is supposed to do, although with a delay. I don't know whether it is due to our particular home Wi-Fi system or just the nature of the technology, but being able to carry on a conversation with somebody at the door is not possible. Too much signal delay. The app also has a habit of constantly nagging for a rating.

We love our door camera. Just wish it had a little more recording distance.

There is a lapse in coverage. We will have someone at the door and we see them leaving. I have a giant breed dog and it missed him going out the door and when I brought him back in the door. Cameras have missed vehicles in front of both locations. We have cameras in 2 locations and they both miss a lot of things they should catch. Would not recommend Ring at this point. However we spent quite a bit of money for all the cameras so almost feel stuck with Ring. I guess they are better than nothing?
