This is my favorite streaming service and its not even close, HOWEVER:
I’m constantly getting locked out of the app and asked to reset my password.
If I got dressed, got in my car and drove the 4 miles to my nearest post office to drop a password reset into the mail box, it would take me less time than it does on this app. Between bouncing me back to a web browser outside of the app, to waiting and WAITING for the link to arrive in my inbox, I usually just give up and fall asleep.

I signed up for monthly fee and they kept charging my bank for the annual fee. Even after I canceled, by the way connection issues was the reason, they are still trying to charge me. And I’m just saying, to be the premier horror streaming service, get some big titles, just saying

The huge Amazon crash came during my free trial, so bad timing. App works fine, though weird bugs like sound streaming from another show, lack of easy to see My Loaf (it’s in another row or under my account instead of prominent) and no user profiles bring it down. Great content, UI needs overhaul.

Vizio app doesn’t work and always logs out, and Airplay never works. Always says it cant load or too many people are on the account even though I’m the only person.
They want you to watch it on your phone or not at all. Will never eve consider Shudder again.

I have a subscription to mainly watch Dragula on my Roku tv or on the mobile app. Love the content Shudder has but both the app on my phone and TV are by far the most faulty platforms I’ve ever used, especially for a paid subscription!! The app on my phone constantly crashes and gives errors while playing a movie/show that closes what I’m watching. PLEASE FIX THESE BUGS!! Shudder also is constantly unable to load any of the movie/tv thumbnails so I either have to blindly browse through blank titles or search for something specific. By far the most frustrating streaming app I’ve used which makes me question having the subscription in the first place.

Consistently for the first 2 weeks of October it won’t play a single thing on the app, I live in the middle of the Midwest US and it says I’m out of the states every single time. Tried restarting, logging out, and tried streaming on FIVE different devices in my house. Wi-Fi works great for everything else. Support could care less and by the time I’m able to watch anything (if that will ever happen) the season will be over. Will not be giving this garbage streaming service another dime for the rest of my days this is the third year I’ve tried this app and it consistently disappoints. I still have a lot of stuff I’d like to see on it but if I have to go another year with simply trying to stream the ambient Ghoul Log and it turns into a 45 minute ordeal before giving up I’m going to tear my eyes off. Screw Shudder.

You guys run a separate clip of ‘shudder’ before content, and it can mess up streaming from a device, not to mention some things are already branded like this so you get it twice with the sound. I think it’s not as seems less as it could be because you play a separate clip when you could just slap that in front of the content-within the same file.
