I joined because it told me I would have a month free and that I wouldn’t be charged until November 9th. However, today it attempted to charge me $60 despite it only being a couple days that I’ve had the subscription. Due to this my card got shut down and I have cancelled my membership. If you are going to offer a month free, you should not charge them prior to the set date.
Amazing resource!

If you're not ready to pay $180 after the 7 day free trial , don't sign up!! They will automatically charge your card for a YEARS worth of membership!!
(you cannot do anything about this , you MUST cancel the membership on day 6!!!!)
ALSO this won't teach you anything about marketing save your money and time!!

I’ve been using this app since 2020. It’s never crashed on me. The videos and the art supplies list is easily accessible. It’s intuitive. I get alerts when my favorites are teaching. And I can revisit my classes whenever I want.

Awful customer service

Very unhelpful and just reiterated obscure company policies and FAQs instead of working to resolve an issue. Seems like they care more about a few subscription dollars than helping customers. Try Masterclass or Coursera instead.
Low Quality to YouTube

Overpriced, better options on YouTube. Some teachers sound like AI.

Skillshare is a great app for just about everyone. Veteran or newly interested artist can learn something on Skillshare. Personally, I wanted to fine-tune my watercolor and oil painting skills. I did. What I found was there are so many artist with their own styles, teaching different aspects of it. Additionally, I found they offered photography courses on subjects that, after +30 years of experience doing photography, I didn’t know about. Finally, I said I’d never do digital art. Recently away from my studio for a long time, I needed an art outlet. I took a few digital art classes on Skillshare. I changed my opinion quickly! I really like the digital platform classes. Having completed about 80 classes over my time as a member, I can say I have a long list of more classes I really want to get to. If you’re burnt-out on social media apps, or want to get you kids away from them, Skillshare is a productive, informative, wholesome platform to be on. Highly recommend!
