    There seems to be a lot of content on here (for my particular interests, anyway). Already 1.5 courses in, with twenty or so saved, and having a lot of fun. Very satisfied so far.

    $50 a month or $167 a year??? Math isn’t mathing, sounds like a ripoff so they lock you in for a year knowing you won’t use it that long. I’ll pass

  • Can’t get anyone to help me

    Beware: This service uses a predatory 'subscription trap' business model. No one has been able to provide any help. To make matters worse, their 'click-to-cancel' process is intentionally buried and difficult to navigate. They care about nothing but the investors, Apple should look in to this company’s practices and cancellations policies they don’t provide any window for you to get your money back, they rely upon customers forgetting to cancel, send emails right before midnight and would make it impossible for you to comunícate with anyone over the phone. I’ve been over a month of back and forth emails with the same person Rustum S and all the skill that he’s shown is to copy and paste generic emails. They stole money from me and hide behind the small print on their cancellation policy show no empathy or compassion.

    But you can cancel at any time. But cancelling doesn't mean you can get a refund. They require a whole year up front. I want a service where I can pay month by month, cancel a month if I know I won't be able to use the service, and re- up when I'm ready to use the service again.

    I’m learning SO much in these Skillshare lessons. I’ve always been hung up about not being able to “paint” a picture or draw something recognizable - the teacher I follow, Denise Love is so awesome about just making the process so relaxed and FUN! She’s a great artist with so many good ideas. I’m so happy I signed up for Skillshare - best money I ever spent.

  • Something Broke

    Skillshare was awesome a few years ago. Now it feels like they’ve gone AI and everything is broken and completely out of touch. My recommended classes have nothing to do with my interests that I specifically gave them. I’m here for art, but every recommendation for the past 6 months has been how to make things with AI. Their emails are broken or illegible, I’ve brought this to their attention with screenshots and nothing has changed. When I search for classes such as, “draw realistic facial features” I get top search results on how to paint watercolor flowers. I’ve taken some great drawing classes but the newer ones don’t teach and the classes are way shorter. For instance, I took a four hour class on how to draw lips with realism. Newer classes are sped up to be 41 minutes long and don’t teach you anything. You just watch someone’s sped up drawing and cut out parts you need to see. I’m saddened by the cheapness of Skillshare and wish they’d fix the broken bits. They need to add more classes that are real and useful. After the nonsensical response from the developer on this, I looked at other one star reviews and saw that their responses make no sense and have nothing to do with active complaints. AI has taken over all of this. I wish I could leave no stars and I hope you all save your money and find classes like on Domestika or with The Art Coach.

    I enjoy that Skillshare is more down to earth people teaching their skills. Courses aren’t overly lengthy but provide a decent level of information. Also it is types of skills other training sites don’t offer. These tend to be a lot around being able to start a side hustle or small business.

    This app keeps lagging, why is that? I can’t even open the app without data having to have my classes downloaded. What’s going on?
