  • A Must App!

    Skillshare is a great app for just about everyone. Veteran or newly interested artist can learn something on Skillshare. Personally, I wanted to fine-tune my watercolor and oil painting skills. I did. What I found was there are so many artist with their own styles, teaching different aspects of it. Additionally, I found they offered photography courses on subjects that, after +30 years of experience doing photography, I didn’t know about. Finally, I said I’d never do digital art. Recently away from my studio for a long time, I needed an art outlet. I took a few digital art classes on Skillshare. I changed my opinion quickly! I really like the digital platform classes. Having completed about 80 classes over my time as a member, I can say I have a long list of more classes I really want to get to. If you’re burnt-out on social media apps, or want to get you kids away from them, Skillshare is a productive, informative, wholesome platform to be on. Highly recommend!

  • Unable to login on account

    Since it updated in the beginning of this year I’ve been unable to log into my account via the app. I have reset my password a few times, cleared my cache on my iPad and the app keeps signing me out. I’ve tried using the account help here and I can’t find any articles that have my same issue. I opened a ticket and get the reply of things I’ve already tried. I do enjoy the app but I don’t understand why I can no longer access it after the update in the beginning of 2025.

    Sorry but, $50 a month for access to content that is at best on par with other services, is highway robbery. It makes no sense not to have a more reasonable price, or at least to see the classes individually. They’re forcing classes on you, that you don’t want, because their model is just plain bad. They’re try to justify it by proclaiming they have thousands of classes. Meanwhile there are sites that have actual college courses for $49 a month, so the value isn’t there.

  • Mobile app needs tweaks

    The desktop browser version is much more user friendly than the mobile app. Scrolling through all of an instructors available courses on mobile is difficult, and you can’t pick specific lessons to download offline- just the entire course. Overall pretty nice but could use some improvements

  • Very Pleased

    I am very pleased with Skillshare Creativity Classes. I took advantage of a free month offer, not expecting to continue after the free period. I was wrong and have been taking as many classes as I can. Taking the classes also lets me know which creators I like, to take more classes from. Being budget conscious I don’t often subscribe to monthly apps; I don’t hesitate with Skillshare though. Give it a try, you may find you like it too.

  • Absolutely not

    I’ve seen other creators preaching and using this app. I figured” oh what would hurt since there is a seven day trial”. Jokes on me four days before my trial ends. My account gets flagged. No emails why or for what reason. Here we are four days later with. (Fraud) flagged, still very little help or answers from support. I guess don’t use a VPN while using this app. If this was the issue, I wish they would just said something in an email.

  • Chronic login problems = unusable

    It worked fine for a month, then the issues started. First on my iPad, then on my phone. iOS is up to date, tried deleting and reinstalling the app with no results. It either persistently reloads the sign in page or will display “You’ve been signed out” with no place to sign in. Using the browser on a mobile device is not as good but the only option when the app is completely unusable. Annoying. 6/25/25 Briefly worked, then back to the same login issue. You need to be logged in on a browser in order to log into the app. Tried Chrome, Safari, and Brave, all produce the same doom loop. Contacted the app’s tech support, no response.

    Your account creation form is broken. ‘Something went wrong’’ when trying to start an account from the app. Issues with free trial as well, maybe correlative

  • Bug: please address

    When I open the app, I’m told I’ve been logged out. When I’m prompted to sign in, a pop-up appears directing me to the website for authentication and then disappears without allowing me to sign in. So I’m logged out permanently and can’t use the app. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling - please fix this bc it makes the app unusable and this is a paid subscription
