TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound

Went from Spotify to tidal for only one reason so I can use my mix,but I really liked tidal but since they decided to charge for mixer integration I’ll be looking for a new streaming app .

I’m ashamed I didn’t try Tidal sooner. This is amazing. I’ve slowly grown into a budget audiophile over the years and I finally have this a try since I saw it could integrate with my Plex account. Cranked the settings up to max for everything. I am blown away by the sound quality through my home theater and my car sound system. I’m discovering my favorites all over again. The Atmos mixes are fun too. Also, the video player through my LG G3 tv is pretty stellar and has an incredible sound quality. I have to mention that the algorithm, the playlists, and the entire UI feels much more geared towards actual music listeners. Very well tuned recommendations and suggestions too. Thank you. This is what I’ve needed for so long and had no idea what I was missing.

I would ask for improvements on how your songs are shuffled. as far as shuffling your songs, It shouldn't just be whatever song you favorited;and that ends up on the tracks section , i want to be able to shuffle all the music in the all the album section instead of going into the album and then choosing a specific song. Apple Music has the feature of shuffling songs through all the albums you download and I like that. On this app you can technically create a redundancy on the songs you "love" because they end up being it's own playlist.

I switched from Spotify to Tidal because Tidal pays artists more and I want to support that. The sound quality is great and definitely better than Spotify. However, I have several issues with the service. The widget on my iPhone for Tidal has not worked once since I added it. I reached out to Tidal support and all their solutions did not fix it either. They also do not have a complications face to add to your Apple Watch. These two things are huge issues for me because I used these the most when using Spotify. Tidal has been around for a decade and these issues should have been fixed within the first year. The sign up process was also overly confusing since they charge you more per month if you sign up in the app. It’s not as seamless of an interface as Spotify and I now have to have a separate app to listen to podcasts, which is a little annoying. Basically, I use Tidal to support artists and the sound quality is good. Everything else is eh.

I think this is tidal problem. When I try to link Tidal with Alexa I get : You need to update your Alexa App I am on IOS and it updates automatically! This is not Android! Why is that?

By far the best app. The constant updates, quality of music, interfaces and now ability to share with anyone regardless of the service they use. Could go on but won’t. Thanks Tidal. Keep up the great work

This is such a good app to listen to my favorite music!back then when i didn’t have this app you used to listen to my favorite music on youtube.After i got this app I could use to for dancing singing and listening to my favorite songs!

Nice catalog and great sound for the price.

Hi- Just switching over from Spotify to Tidal because I’ve heard so many good things. But all the many playlists I’ve made over the years now have no cover art- makes the interface much less appealing and harder to find what I’m looking for.

Could use a lot more atmos music and podcasts
