I switched to Tidal from Spotify and have been giving it an honest try... and will likely continue to use it. But I have been pretty disappointed in the user experience... like the search function is terrible. I'll search for a song by the exact name and it will show me 10 songs with different names before it shows me the one i searched for... I want to support Tidal but it's just not the best...
  • Album artwork does not match the song that’s currently playing.

Works great in the car, office and home. But you better have a quality system to reveal its fat sound … if not use the cheapies!
  • Another update and you still cant search playlists when you add a song

I just want this very basic feature, otherwise I’d really like this app. As it stands, having to scroll through all of your playlists every time you add a song is SO slow it makes me want to move on to another app. The playlist list is not even in alphabetical order when you’re in the ‘add song to playlist’ menu. It comes up constantly. UPDATE: another update, same review and adding to playlist is now buried under a couple clicks when you like a song. This and the fact that the search engine doesn’t check through lyrics makes me regret switching to this app daily.

Recent update no longer supports Sony 360 which is fine but why are the songs still on the app? Why show us something we can’t listen too it make no sense

Plenty of space on my phone and great internet connection. The iOS app cannot consistently download selected tracks/playlists and albums. No problems on my android phone, ever.

The title says it all. Constantly glitchy, have to close and reopen to get things to load properly, tabs that don’t go to the indicated page, albums and artists incorrectly mismatched because of basic naming conventions, etc. These are super basic quality of life improvements. Shows no care nor passion and clearly is just more capitalist garbage shilled out to compete and rip off like so many other products. Extremely simple stuff that would be noticeable to any user that has tried to fully explore the app. Repeatedly finding the app gets stuck somewhere; then have to close and reopen the app, and still find more bugs. I’m only on here as a temporary transition as I just left Spotify and am also dissatisfied with Tidal. Looking for any non-corrupt, halfway decent music streaming app that has care for its user base or artists. Capitalism is cancer and Tidal is just another example of capitalists ruining the vehicle to enjoy art.

I love this app on my iPad. It gives you a better set up than other music apps and they for most part have all the artist that I listen to. And I love connecting my earbuds to listen to this high def tunes.
