TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound

Switched over from Spotify given recent AI developments there and what the CEO finds valuable in society. Love the more bare and less AI-centric aspects of tidal. Love the sound quality, for the most part the app is easy to use. There are some glaring user experiences I’d love a fix for. 1. Adding songs to a specific playlist through search or the playlist. Some of my playlists I can essentially no longer use because i have so many playlists, there is no way to easily add a song to a specific playlist if it’s not conveniently one I can scroll to. 2. The queuing should be a little easier and possible from the search. 3. Songs restart and start at the beginning of the user session. 4. Radio starts from latest song it heard in a playlist rather than maybe an almagamation of the entire playlist. 5. Needs some recon of the music that falls under artists with the same name. This happened in Spotify too but is way more prominent on Tidal. That’s it for now… there’s actually a lot yall could work on but keep up the good work…

No matter how many times I download the same playlist, upon losing wifi or data connection, the app says there is an issue loading downloaded content. Sometimes it will still allow me to play certain songs, but usually it won’t show the player in-app for these songs. I have tried removing the download entirely, redownloading the playlist, deleting songs that won’t download, etc., all with no luck. It also kicks me out of my login at random presenting the same issue of music being inaccessible offline. Upon going through other reviews, this has been an issue for upwards of three years, and all the team has to offer in response is a referral to their support website which, mind you, has nothing regarding this issue. For the extra money to get a monthly subscription, I feel it would be the bare minimum to resolve this in an update rather than further promote lesser features or sound quality. Don’t get me wrong, the music sounds great (though you can’t adjust its quality through certain bluetooth devices according to a pop-up within the app), but what value does that have if you cannot listen to it?

I recently switched over to tidal & the audio quality is top tier, but unfortunately the app is a tad bit glitchy… most of the bugs aren’t too aggravating, but the broken download feature is definitely my biggest issue. My playlists won’t download at all. I do overall really like Tidal & believe it is a great streaming service, but I do hope this issue is fixed ASAP.

I love this app for supporting artists. I want to love it more. with all due respeck, UX needs work Sometimes music will just stop and when I go to play again, it starts the track over… Other times I’m looking to add tracks to a playlist and the app completely freezes then I have to close it and open it up again… I hope this can be fixed soon. Also it would be nice for Tidal to include and prioritize my playlists and saved tracks in the main search bar.

Really love this as an alternative to Spotify. I would love to get a TIDAL widget so that I can access the app from my locked home screen

I have good signal every thing else is working great I love your app. But when I put a song on repeat while driving I want it to keep repeating it not just once and r twice and cut off

Works great on WiFi at home. Just plain stops working every time I use it in the car. Experienced the same issue with iPhone 13 & iPhone 16. I have unlimited

Several issues: (1) The app sometimes logs me out on airplane mode and when it does I’m not able to listen to downloaded music. (2) I get a “connection error” when trying to add a song to the queue when on airplane mode, despite the song being downloaded. Otherwise the app is great, aside from swiping left to play next instead of adding to the end of the queue…whose idea was that?

When listening to a well recorded song, and on a nice system. The sound is impeccable. For example, on my Bowers Wilkins system in my Volvo. It sounds great.
