    I don’t know why, but all of a sudden, a lot of songs are no longer playable on Tidal. Every day I’m deleting more and more songs due to this. What’s going on?

    My playlist will say all songs are downloaded but when I go offline, the app will say the song isn’t downloaded. FIX THIS, IT RUINS THE APP.

    I haven’t gotten into all of the various features, but I would like to see better Shazam integration and a way to block certain artists entirely. Glad to see a platform doing better by their artists, especially the independent ones.

    I’ve been having issues with the app saying that most of my music is no longer playable and asking me to delete and redownload each song (which isn’t fixing the problem)

    Beyond a better, more equitable revenue split between the app and artists, Tidal has become my favorite way to discover new bands, new styles, and genuinely expanded my world view on what matters to me in a song. I’ve found so many brilliant Irish, English, Spanish and Australian groups without having to plumb the depth of an algorithm. The app itself is solid with a few points of friction. I’m not a fan of the current procedure of downloading music and organizing your downloads. It’s better than when I started using the app in November 2025 but still not ideal. Beyond that quibble, Tidal has provided me with all I’ve wanted and more.
