Always enjoy finding new recipes from NYT - lots of good ones that always seem to fit an occasion.
  • The recipies always work. The Times test kitchen only turns out restaurant quality recipies.

This is my favorite go to for recipies. Ive tried other places on the net but the recipies here are consistently sensational.
  • Ads if you like it of not

I like the recipes, I like that comments and helpful comments are available. I don’t like the new saved recipes book sorting but by biggest complaint is that I pay a monthly fee that has gone up to access the app and yet I’m forced to sort through ads. Again, recipes are great, but why am I paying access only to have ads as well.

I am hooked on this app! Every day I find something tempting to cook, & I get especially excited when I have all the ingredients! I was sick and housebound for the month of January and this app kept me busy and happy. I also appreciate the videos, when unsure of one of the steps. Thank you!

One of the most fun parts of my day is looking at the recipes in the New York Times and then, with abandon, adding them to my list of saved recipes. I’d write more, but I have to get back to selecting recipes. Hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I.
  • Videos Eat Bandwidth

Suddenly there are videos that automatically play when you open a recipe. It's not obvious to swipe on the picture at the top of the recipe to find the video in order to stop the sound. However, even if you mute, the video continues playing. It is a high quality video that will eat my bandwidth. Please just make a way to stop video playback and buffering that actually works. I'm trying to make the dish while looking at instructions or glancing through the ingredients at the grocery store, not trying to have my family or strangers listen to a video talking about the dish. A video none of us are watching while prepping food. Note: The video itself is fine! It was nice to watch AFTER cooking.

I love the NYT’s cooking section. They make the most desirable recipes seem relatively simple and doable. I have so many in my go -to recipe folder for week day nights or for guests. The best. Thank you. Suzanne Duffy
  • Ads? Really?

If I’m seeing ads, I should be getting the content for free. It’s a great compendium of recipes for sure, but it’s not worth another hit to our collective sanity. Rethinking my subscription for sure.
  • Slow and Doesn’t Work

I love love the recipes but whenever I go to use the app it’s extremely slow. On the chance I can get a recipe I like up, the app will never let me save it to my collection- it always says “we’re working on our connection”. It feels a waste of money spent. The app isn’t cheap! You’d expect it to at least function :/
