Description

High standards? Keep them that way. The League is a selective dating app offering its members a curated “Batch” of potentials each day, rather than an unlimited stream of profiles. Designed for motivated daters who would rather be single than settle, The League strongly believes that 3 quality matches are better than 100 bad ones. So say goodbye to endless swiping and keep those standards sky-high— because while your mother might call you picky, we call you self-aware. The League uses a waitlist and vetting system to ensure a well-balanced, highly engaged community of people with real motivation to find a meaningful long-term relationship. You can use The League for free or upgrade to a subscription to unlock additional benefits. Subscribers see more profiles each day, and thus, enjoy 40% more matches on average. Depending on what term you choose, your subscription will last for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year and automatically renew at those intervals from the point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your subscription before it renews, you must do so at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. I’m disappointed in this app. I was sent a match who I found out uses different names in different apps. I’ve been sent matches (3 of them) I Xed for not interested within a 3 day time frame. This is frustrating since you only get 3 suggestions per day. Felt like I wasnt getting a full 3. Also, even if they cannot exactly match our preference and only a few there should be a point where they do not send a match who meets most of your criteria but lives 2-2.5 hours away. They want people to shorten app convo and set up dates ASAP but I can’t just pick up and travel that distance to meet someone for a date. I’d likely need a dog sitter. Couldn’t be a work day. If they couldn’t match my 25 mile preference I’d understand but over 100 miles is excessive. I could see 50/60……But more than that?

I actually never leave bad reviews. But I needed to for this. Let’s just say, in order to actually use the app in a beneficial way you have the option of paying A. $999.99 a week B. $624.99 for 1 month C. Or an ‘amazing deal’ of $416.66 for 3 months. They try to charge you for many months. So it told me my total was going to be $2,499.00 😂😂 For an app that wants you to ‘find love’ seems like they actually just want your money and don’t care at all. Plus it’s the same exact guys from every other dating app that’s free. Do not waste your time.

As a 40 yo professional female in NYC, I thought this app would be better than the others in terms of what I was looking for. To be clear, my filters are 5’9” and over, at least a Bachelor’s degree, living in the NYC metro area. Nothing too restrictive. The app literally started sending me guys in Ohio and profiles without any pictures before my 3 month subscription was up. When I asked the admin if this was a mistake, they said that those were the closest guys fitting my criteria they could find and they suggested I be more open-minded about doing long distance. If it matters, I am a WOC and I think that as well as being 40+ now has made online dating difficult even though I would consider myself attractive. But spending $400 to start getting random guys in the Midwest was definitely a new low for me. Do not waste your money on this app.

Deep fake scammers are getting into the league. They start with complimenting and asking for a phone number. When you ask them what they do, it doesn’t match their profile . Messaged concierge and they are investigating. It also lacks the polished, well educated, professionals it once had. I’m am unlikely to renew my paid membership

It requires access to a corporate email, linked in, or $100. It dose not recognize the business I own as a business so the only other option is linked in or $100 (per week) I don’t use linked in. Highly do not recommend massive waste of time to build a profile that can’t be used.

When you prioritize distance, but only see matches hundreds of miles away it’s really frustrating. Especially when you only get 3 matches per day.

This app is nothing more than an overpriced gimmick disguised as an exclusive dating platform. While it markets itself as a refined alternative by integrating LinkedIn, the execution is beyond disappointing. The interface is unclear, and users are met with an absurdly long waitlist—conveniently set at over 11,500 people in every city. It’s a blatant attempt to create artificial exclusivity while pushing users toward outrageously high-priced subscriptions. What’s worse, the app offers little to no real value for the money it demands. There are far better (and free) dating apps where you can actually engage with matches without being forced to pay a fortune. The concept had potential, but the execution is abysmal. Additionally, if you look at their responses to negative reviews, you’ll notice a pattern—they avoid addressing legitimate concerns and instead recycle generic replies. That alone speaks volumes about their lack of accountability. If you’re looking for a dating app that delivers what it promises, look elsewhere. This one is nothing more than an expensive disappointment.

They sell this as a more exclusive and selective dating app. Once you are off the waitlist the costs are incredibly high considering the same matches cycle through, even after you declined them. Not only do you continue to get the same matches over and over most are outside of my age and distance range. Hard enough to make a date happen in your city let alone something hours away. I still have the free version but it’s even worse than when I paid.

Save your time. Most of them are on tinder too, but much less attractive ones.
