  • $$$$$ + Scammers

The price of this mobile game should be criminal. There are over 10 different currencies in CSR2. You get crumbs per $ spent. CSR 2 is also severly plagued with game hackers scammers that cheats you but Zinga surely don’t seem to care. They want your money $$$. Shame on the greed of a great game.
  • Pay to play disguised as free to play

The American series that we are currently is a great example. The game builds up a great free to play event (they used to say when it was a paid event), and then they make sure you need to pay with real cash to get in-game currency to continue. You may spend a ton of time as a free player grinding and watching advertisements for gas only to get to a spot where you can’t finish because you don’t have enough series credits, tokens, gold, cash, or whatever other currency they come up with (and there are many). They’ll make sure you need one part, or have enough currency to fit a fusion part so that you have to pay with real world cash. This cash won’t even give you the part mind you, only a chance at the part in their version of a casino called “crates.” To be fair, you can play for free. If you watch videos and race a ton over years you can build up many garages of cars. Just be aware, that the high end cars will always cost you real money one way or another and they will always be pushing you to pay in some form or fashion. Cheating: this is a huge part of the game. Any car can be had by simply paying a few bucks to a hacker (which is cheaper than the 20+ bucks the developer charges so you’ll see it often. The prizes run off of respect points (RP) and the top crews often cheat so badly that the win every season. The developer does very little about that. If you’re an honest player, and you like things to be fair, this isn’t your game. Glitches: they are plentiful but sometimes they work in the players favor and sometimes it’s just fun to drive with only tires and no car. I call it the ghost car. My 2 stars would be more if they were just straight forward and honest and cracked down on hackers. The graphics are good and it is fun when you figure out a good car tune or beat someone who clearly has a faster car - so I did give it a star for that.

Some cars in this game is near impossible to shift because the frame rate is locked at 30. I can’t nearly discern the needle sometimes because of the frame rate. Should at least be an option.

I have been playing this game for a while and really enjoyed the experience but recently I have had a glitch that has literally made the game unplayable. I have also lost the ability to open the player inbox and have messaged the support team for them to only respond and do nothing after a week. This game was so good but glitches are so frequent.

If there was more of a variety for customization like body upgrades and stuff then it would be 5/5 but for now it 4/5.

Overall I’m so disappointed with support, “luck” of the “random parts” and lack of care by those you contact for help. Levels are not designed to be beaten by skill but pure luck. If you buy the cars, spend the $$, buy the crates, but don’t get the luck of the “random parts” then you will not win the events. It’s all luck and little skill. I’m a lucky guy but with this game it’s a whole different level of bad luck. Also they do not give nearly enough free crates in the events to help you along the way which makes it designed for failure and not success. After a year of playing I’ve seen new cars but no real improvements - they are not listening to the players. Overall, cars are cool, but support with leave you disappointed. (Player retention is through addiction and minimal satisfaction)
