    Nothing easy about using this app. Most of the job postings that were being shown to me were irrelevant, no real way to filter out jobs. Went to cancel my subscription, there is no spot to cancel only to delete my account, this kind of makes me feel like I’m being scammed. It should never be difficult to cancel a subscription. I hope that that means I’m not being charged now that I deleted my account But I have no idea. So sorry that I recommended this to my daughter also.

    FlexJobs feels more like a startup than a trusted job search platform. They promote top-level and remote opportunities, but most listings are mid-level or in-person roles. From the limited job options available, many are already closed or no longer active. Their new AI autofill feature is clunky—it takes several steps to use, and applications often get stuck in a “pending” status. It’s honestly faster to type everything out manually. After paying for a subscription, I feel scammed. There’s very little value here compared to free job boards that offer more up-to-date listings and a smoother experience. Save your money. FlexJobs isn’t worth it to me.

    I have a paid annual subscription but I will be cancelling it. I was referred to FlexJobs by my Alma mater and had alumni benefits to get a discount, but even with that it is not worth paying for it. I think if you dig deep into what you are looking for, and just keep scrolling for ages until your arms hurt, you may find what you need. Having said that, it’s going to take a long time to find a role that is a good fit for me because the filters don’t work great and thus I have to scroll past dozens of listings that I literally filter out (filter out senior roles and that seems to be all I get) to get to one mediocre listing that I don’t qualify for. There also seem to be many outdated listings that were posted months ago. I turned off all notifications because I only got them for completely irrelevant roles that don’t match the keywords or even industry that I set them for. They also send them to you all at once so you get 10 notifications for nothing except anxiety lol. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of remote roles and they seem to be more legit/less chance they are spam listings. However given all the above inefficiency and annoyance it’s much easier to take the risk on LinkedIn or indeed if you can at least see roles that match what you’re looking for.

    The jobs won’t show until you pay and then after you pay they have a whole bunch of remote jobs that is SUPPOSABLY recently posted , click on the link it leads to the “company” website. Click’s application, they have a billion questions for you to answer on top of several questions you have to type in to answer. SCAM. You’ll never finish the application

    First it’s hard to even login on google, I paid for a membership, I had applied to jobs once that day I became a member but everytime I would go on it again it wanted me to pay to become a member never gives me an option to login. I downloaded the app and of course I need to now upgrade to find jobs. WTH! Cancel my membership!

  • Don’t waste your time/money

    I got this app and I paid the 2 week access. No jobs called me back. I then paid a couple of monthly payments to keep it. No jobs called me back. I then paid the annual fee of $71 and still I didn’t receive any employer responses but ALSO, 2 months after I paid the annual fee, my access was revoked and I was no longer able to use the features I paid for. I reached out to customer service and received a pointless email. I reached out to them AGAIN more aggressively asking they either restore my access or give me a refund and they responded with instructions to cancel the subscription and request a refund through Apple. But Apple does not let me request a refund so I paid over $70 for absolutely nothing and they just took my fee and ran with it.
