  • Phone App Great…Watch, not so much

    I have no complaints with the phone app. It helps me plan my workouts and use it to stream strength workouts to my tv. PLEASE update the watch app to be able to complete outdoor workouts without the phone. I shouldn’t need to have my phone for an outdoor run or ride when the watch has a GPS and cellular in it. It’s just more stuff to carry. UPDATE 8/8/25 I don’t even know how long ago this request was made, but I am sure I am not the first person to make it. I don’t understand why the info on the watch can’t be updated to show more than heart rate for outdoor workouts. Why can time and distance not be shown all on the same screen like the workout app. This is a pretty easy fix. Also, being able to complete an outdoor activity with only the watch should be easy as well. Just don’t require it to connect to the phone and have it show all of the info on the watch.

    I love the app, especially when running. What I don’t like is that when you select walking or running outside, the app for the watch does not display distance, nor pace. It does if you select indoor, which makes no sense to me

    Please allow app users to add their “Just Indoor Walking” miles to the app just as we do when using the “instructor-led Indoor Walking”. Also, make the Heart Rate readings more accurate by allowing it to read our readings every 1-2mins as opposed to every 5-7mins or for longer walks it’s every 12mins, which is insane!

    For a long time, I didn’t get it. What was so great about Peloton? After 6 months, I am beyond grateful that a platform like this exists. Where I can choose between a boot camp, bike ride, and finish with a meditation. I’ve had so many varied workouts with this platform and I will never go back to the gym. I’m a full time working mother, and being able to take time for myself in my own home… and have amazing workouts, meditations, yoga, kettlebell… you name it Peloton has it. It’s life changing. Thank you Peloton!
  • Good as a basic heart-rate tracker

    Overall it’s good for taking classes with you. The heart-rate tracker is OK as long as you need basic functionality. It’s terrible as soon as you’re doing an indoor walk or run, though.
