    I updated my app because land owner names aren’t up to date. When I did this I can’t access any property boundaries. HuntStand keeps asking me to upgrade. My subscription is PAID! Been paid! Not happy at all. Do not purchase this app, something has happened at HuntStand. Perhaps poor management or data breach.

    Been on this app for three years. Enjoyed it. Then in the middle of my third year of 2025 I could not use any of the pages I normally used unless I payed more. This rendered the app use to me. I lost my money.

  • Poor support, good app

    When I was able to get into the app it worked very well, and provided a ton of valuable information. I’ve been unable to log into the app for several weeks now, and resetting my password allows me to log into the web but not in the native app. When contacting support all you receive are automated responses with links to support articles.

  • Updates with major bugs

    I've used this app for years and now it's got major bugs. It's not markers, it's not saving boundaries. It keeps relocating to my current position when I'm trying to look at maps and other areas. If it stays like this is a completely useless app and I'll be switching to another one. Hopefully they get this resolved ASAP.

    I’m genuinely surprised by the number of positive reviews. There isn’t really anything terrible about the app but it doesn’t do anything better than the other hunt mapping/tracking apps. It is a little less refined and more clunky than the rest. I have used OnX, GoHunt, and HuntWise and each of them are more intuitive without ads and the constant prompting to upgrade to the insane 99/year subscription. This app is perfectly fine with the free year included in a camera purchase but not worth continuing after a year. There are many better options. Also, with them being owned by GSM, if you have an issue, you’re out of luck. Their customer service is non-existent.

  • Everything disappeared overnight

    I used this app for years as a pro subscriber. I had a lot of information stored on those maps. However, one day, everything was gone. My account just vanished into the night. Response from support ( very delayed) is “we cannot find your account”, despite sending them screenshots of my subscription on Apple and of emails from HuntStand. It’s very frustrating and they don’t seem to care. Beware, it might happened to you. Update: got response to email my info to a broken email address in response to this review. Total disaster. Wish they had zero stars as rating.

    The app was great and I enjoyed using it until it quit working. I paid for the upgraded account and lost access to it. A month and a half into my issue and customer service has gone silent on me. The last two updates were “sorry for the delay, the team is working on this and we’ll have an update soon”. So as I said the app was great, but you risk throwing $50 away, losing access to all the maps you’ve built, and added frustration from an unresponsive customer service team. If I have to start over I’ll do it with OnX.

    I no longer have access to my stand locations and notes. The app is now useless. It has been 7 weeks now and still not fixed. I am canceling and moving to another app.

  • Great app, support is lacking

    App is great when working. I have used it for 9 years creating shared hunt areas with numerous deer camp members. It is a great tool for new members. Over the summer I was no longer able to log in to the mobile app but still able to access my account on the computer. All of my data is available on the computer and is accessible to the people I shared the hunt area with. I have reached out to support and all they tell me is to reset the password. I have done this multiple times, deleted and reloaded the app, and updated my phone. I love the app when working, but it is near useless if I can’t open on my phone. To this point support has been useless to me. If I hear reset your password one more time I may explode.
