I spend $400 to watch a bunch of Google orientation videos and not learn anything. I was hoping for more challenging, code heavy work. Codeacademy is still the best in this regard.

I paid for two months of the Google Cybersecurity course but couldn’t access the labs the entire time. Coursera support kept sending me to Qwiklabs, and the issue was never fixed. I lost both time and money and had to cancel my subscription. Great courses, but terrible support when problems happen.

I am paying $400 a year for a plus membership. The value I get from this membership is at least worth thousands. For example, I am taking IBM AI Engineering Certificate with 13 courses. If you go to a regular boot camp from a university, this program would cost $7000. Apart from AI and coding, they offer other fields like Pharmaceutical development, accounting, design, finance, even language like German and Chinese. Many courses are offered by top companies like Google, Meta, IBM, Microsoft and universities such as Cambridge and University of Pennsylvania.
  • Phenomenal learning and even college options
