    Once again the update caused Home to stop recognizing my mini Nest speakers and messed up my alerts, automations, and reminders. My Nest units are older. I’m constantly fixing automations and reinstalling the minis. Now they are shoving AI into the mix. I thought AI was supposed to be a Smart… make life easier. :/ If only there was a trade up plan to assist us w upgrading equipment.

    Or maybe AI. The app is all over the lot, app different than website, all the features hidden, frequent random changes. Do better.

    When adding a new device (nest cam) the app times out too quickly not allowing the camera to connect. I have to connect through the Nest app then transfer to Google Home. VERY FRUSTRATING!

    I can’t do anything reliably on this app. I can’t view my cameras, can’t view record video, and cameras freeze a lot when trying to access them. Nest app never had these problems. Not a happy camper with the whole nest to Google integration.

    The application is user-friendly and easy to set up. When functioning correctly, it serves as a valuable tool. However, it is plagued by frequent interruptions and significant delays. I have configured it to notify me for both people and packages. Despite receiving a large delivery of furniture boxes, I did not receive a single notification. Fortunately, I reside in an area with low crime rates, as the number of missed notifications is concerning. In summary, this application and the Nest cameras are average at best.
