    I am so sick of the monthly subscription model. If you download this app and do not want to pay every month or annually, you can only store three recipes. It makes it completely useless. I understand developers need to make money and while I don’t enjoy ads, I do put up with them for apps that I don’t pay for. This app doesn’t even give you that option. It’s very disappointing because I love the design and the concept behind this app, but I am not willing to add another subscription to my monthly budget. Why can’t we buy a lifetime subscription? I’m updating to add a star because the developers team is responsive to reviews. And they didn’t make the app economy the way it is. I still believe it would be better to offer a lifetime membership option, rather than only a subscription option.

    Since Samsung changed the name, this company seems to be taking advantage of that. Once you create your account and password, it’s not possible to change it. Beware

    I downloaded the app and tried to save a recipe from instagram and it didn’t work. It seems like you also have only two free recipes and then you have to pay.

    No other recipe app can take a recipe video from instagram or TikTok and turn it into a real step by step recipe so flawlessly . It generates steps and an ingredient list even if the original description doesn’t have them. I’m stunned how good this is wow.. I tried other apps like recime but none of them comes even close

  • Free version is useless

    I understand needing to have a price in order to fund the app, but there are so many other issues with this app that’s not worth having it in the first place. I contacted customer support months ago and never heard back. They clearly didn’t care about my concern, which was so minor too. The limit of two recipes for the free version makes there be no reason for it in the first place. Yes I get to try app out, but I used my first recipe just to figure out how the app works and that will never come back now. It may be easy to use, but limiting us so heavily doesn’t make people want to really give the app a try. There are plenty of other apps that are free that provide these same features, I highly don’t recommend this app.

    I have so many recipes saved on TikTok and Instagram but it’s hard to find the right one and get the cooking steps so I rarely cooked the recipes I saved. Whisk extracts all of the cooking steps and creates the recipe for you. You can then add it to a calendar so know what you’re going to make this week AND it pulls together a shopping list for you!??! Are you kidding! So helpful. Love it. I would give it 100 stars if I could.

    I tried importing the link from 2 different Facebook cooking videos, both popped up halfway through the “Download” and said unable. This was of course the free version. Might be their way of making you upgrade for the app to even work. Also no option for manually adding your own.

    I NEVER leave reviews but I just had to for this. This app is so helpful to actually transfer and use recipes from social media! It gives you all the nutrition facts and a grocery list AND is simple to use and see what recipes you have! I’m obsessed.

  • It’s Good, But

    I love what it does. But I would love have the option to adjust for serving sizes that fit my family. One recipe has only 2 servings and one has 8. I know how to do the math but it would be nice for it to adjust for me. Also for you to put it into categories such as meat type or diet type. Y’all already have combining shopping list for all recipes needed in progress so I’m looking forward to that. I’m excited to see how y’all make this app better than it already is.
