I was not impressed by the app., so I removed it and canceled the subscription before the free tryout ended. Image my surprise to find that they kept billing my credit card! Don’t trust this app.!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I signed up for a free trial but never used it. When I tried to cancel it was buried in a bunch of different clicks and took me forever to find the cancellation page. They billed me for a subscription without even sending a reminder email, and refuse to refund me. I’m sure their revenues are made by billing people in a sneaky way. Stay away from them, you’ll regret signing up.
  • Not worth it

Frustrated. I had a free trial for this app and thought I’d give it a try. After using it the first time, I knew it wasn’t worth it. You can’t cancel your subscription from the app, so you have to log in online. I thought I canceled right after the first time with the app, but clearly something happened where I didn’t. The subscription renewed and I asked for my money back. They said they do not provide any sort of refunds whether the app was or wasn’t used. They clearly need the money… stay away.

I wanted to load the app but it FORCED me to sign up to Tastemade + to access the site! It was a free 1 week trial but I didn’t want it at all. Why force this on people to use the app? Don’t like that at all! I removed the app!

I keep searching recipes that they don’t have lol. For an app they want you to pay for, You’d think they have more options. Ridiculous… I searched Salisbury steak… Common recipe…. guess what? They don’t have it. Lol. You definitely don’t need a paid app for meal prepping. App is rendered useless.
  • What is really going on?

I was already hesitant to try the app as I’m not looking forward to yet ANOTHER subscription, but come to find out I only get the annual subscription option. What happened to the monthly?? Are you guys not aware of this economy?? And please stop touting the 7 day trial as “free”, just call it a trial. I cannot rate this app as I cannot get passed the subscription barrier
  • Ad said the app was free but it’s not

Downloaded the app after Facebook app said it was free to see recipes and plan meals. When you open the app it forces a popup to join “tastemade+” for a paid subscription and there’s no way to get around it or access the app without paying. Therefore it’s not actually free to use, just free to download. Useless and disappointing. “Developer response” was useless, a free trial for a subscription is not the same as actually being free. This company likely scams hundreds with this. Despicable.
  • Liked it but…

I uninstalled it because after like 3 visits you can’t see anymore videos/recipes. Not worth the hassle I’ll go back to good ole Pinterest, you tube,or just searching the web for recipes or the old fashioned way the cookbook!
