The lady was patient and asked very direct questions to get information to help both of us. She was calm and had very great attitude.

I didn’t start hunting until my 30’s, and by hunting I mean following my husband in the wilderness around and shooting when he told me to! We have used OnX on every hunt we have ever gone on. Recently moved to a different state and had zero issues switching our state in the app. Worth the money. Worth the time to learn all the tools. Also surprised how much we use the app in day to day life for finding contact info, mapping walks and hikes, or just buying a new house and enjoying seeing our name as the owner on the map. An important tool in our arsenal and we renew our subscription year after year with no questions asked.

This is the best. I don’t get lost. I can find my sweet spot with out marking it for others to see. Was told to me by the NY DEC best advice I have ever received

If you have cell service it’s good. No cell? Difficult to manipulate. Not user friendly

The order of importance for me is optics, OnX, weapon. It’s an invaluable tool on any hunt.

Had trouble accessing the maps. According to my wife, I should stick with paper maps. Anyway, when I called in for help, I was made to feel like family and everything was fixed in one call! Great help…great product!

I literally use onx every time I’m in the woods. It’s a safety tool (keeping me from getting lost) but I use it for so much more. Keeping track of where I’ve seen game, found sheds, water locations, etc. I also use it quite a bit for e scouting, all the map layers and 3d mode is so valuable! I also really like being able to track my hikes so I can visualize where I’ve been and getting to see the miles traveled and ascent/descent is also pretty cool. I highly recommend the paid version!
  • Needs more leaf off coverage.

The usability is great, the multiple layers is great, the accuracy is great. It would be the perfect e-scouting app if I could just get leaf off imagery, hunting in Alabama it can hard telling oaks from pines and mixed trees with aerial views when all the satellite images are always green trees. That’s the only bad thing I can say about it though. When and if leaf off images come to my state it’ll be the only app I use. Until then it’ll be this and HuntStand.

It’s great, but it’d be the best if they gave out numbers so we can call landowners and ask permission
