  • Spotty communication

Our travel party was spread out across 3 staterooms so we needed a way to communicate with each other and we had a lot of trouble with the chat feature on this app. Worked 90% of the time for the Apple users in our group but the Android users did not receive any of the messages in our family group chat and even didn’t receive the important updates from Guest Services via the app throughout the cruise.
  • Wi-Fi not good

Wi-Fi is very slow, have to sign in multiple times, hard to switch between devices. Doesn’t work on the islands. Too expensive! Doesn’t communicate between family devices.

It was very nice for what it did. A good start on something that could be very big. Wish it had more active features
  • Kudos to the dev team

The app make the cruise trip easier. All the functions make sense and is easy to interact. If I could add one thing to the feature wish list, that would be the activity calendar visualization.
  • Great app, bad coverage

The app works great and the free WiFi works ok on ship if you can get it to work. Several members of our party could never receive or send messages making it very hard to remain in contact with each other. It would be nice if there was a way to send pictures in the messaging. WiFi off ship at castaway was extremely spotty and practically nonexistent at lighthouse point, making it impossible to find our group after getting separated at the trams. Overall the app is good but the infrastructure to make it work needs lots of improvement.
  • Good but needs some improvements

The app was serviceable up to the start of the cruise me provided some good info. But once onboard it was difficult to see everyone’s plans even when in the same staterooms. Also the nursery times did not properly sync which was difficult to maintain our schedules. Also it would have be nice to see some of the potential shows and events in advance to favorite them ahead of time so that it would show up in a favorited tab once you got onboard so that you can quick view those days and times. Then add them To your plans in the app. It took a some time to go through all the days and favorite everything we wanted to do.

Sería de suma importancia que estuviera también en español y no solo en inglés
  • Didn’t work well during cruise

Terrible experience. I couldn’t message anyone in my group for most of the trip as it would always say not delivered. With this being my first cruise it was highly frustrating and stressful not being able to communicate or locate my party unless I stayed with them the entire day. It would not recognize I was connected to the guest WiFi to utilize the app most of the trip. When it did recognize me connected, it never updated past day two and by the end of the cruise I was unable to complete the survey as I never received the offer in app since it was stuck on day 2. And would not pull up the QR code link to complete it as the WiFi issue continued. Highly disappointed in this app.
  • Could be better

App works well but I wish it would show a blue location pin while I’m on the cruise so I know where I am on the map
  • Excellent All in One

I haven’t taken a Disney Cruise in over 10 years. And it has come along way especially with this App. It knows your scheduled activities and alerts you to them. You can see what’s available on the ship for time, places and activities. You can chat through the app with members of your family while on the ship. The only critique is that the wifi is intermittent. Two things you have to do to make sure app works smoothly — turn off private wifi and limit tracking in settings AND you have to be in airplane mode. Seems like a lot but it’s helpful. To improve the app, ditch the access cards and replace it with the app. Our family misplaced the access cards twice.
