PLAUD: AI Voice Recorder

I never thought that the PLAUD NOTE PIN needed this, but the find my function is an absolute game changer for such a small device and I’ve had to go round the hospital looking for my device and successfully found it every time when it fell in a patient’s room.

I’ve tried them all. I can’t state how polished and impressive the Plaud AI ecosystem is. I now have the Note and PIN and I couldn’t be happier with their functionality. App: the app has the best options for summary templates I’ve seen yet. The Ask AI feature is quite good. I just can’t say enough how effective this product is. It’s quite impressive as a whole (devices and app).

I’m a Project Manager in a medium size construction company. I run anywhere from 4-6 active construction projects and typically involved in 3-4 PreConstruction projects. Very busy to say the least. I use this at least once or twice every day. Things like site meetings and job walks it proves useful because I don’t have to carry a notepad and scribble notes. Simply have the meeting, transcribe and summarize. I then email the file to myself in Word format, do some quick editing, and distribute the information from there. It’s really great.

I saw this on a TikTok commercial and was buying it before the commercial ended. This is an amazing tool for anyone with ADHD (like me), who has trouble remembering specifics from meetings (like me) whose notes aren't complete or they just never go back to reviews their notes (like me), or someone who just prefers to listen in a meeting and not be bogged down by taking notes (like me). I've been using it my staff meetings and the summary function is so great for tracking the next steps, meaning I don't have to remember what task I assigned, it will all be neatly included in the next steps section. I always email the summary and transcript to myself, which Plaud titles for you based on the meeting content and now it's so much easier to find my notes than looking through random pages in my notebook. The battery life is amazing. It's also so small and indiscreet (make sure you check your state's recording consent laws), not to hide the recording, but it makes it easy to carry in my pocket if I don't have a bag or folio, I don't need to have my phone out in the meeting to use as a recorder, and it doesn't feel like I'm recording an interrogation with a tape recorder. Plus it gives you the notes from the meeting, unlike your phone or a tape recorder! The only thing I would like to see is the ability to integrate it seamlessly with my Remarkable, so I can send straight from Plaud to Remarkable rather than the extra steps of emailing/saving/uploading. Though that might be on Remarkable.

Okay, I’m late to this entire AI revolution. But, if I had known this is what I’ve been missing, I would have been on the wagon a long time ago. This little device is so powerful and saves me so much time. I actually bought two. The original and now I have the new pen. I just wish I could record directly from the web and phone.
