Description

See where your ball will actually land before you swing. Shot Pattern overlays your personal shot dispersion onto satellite imagery of every hole, so you can pick smarter targets, avoid trouble, and shoot lower scores. Trusted by players on PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA, and college teams worldwide. 4.8 stars from thousands of golfers. YOUR SHOT PATTERN ON EVERY HOLE Most golf GPS apps stop at giving you a number to the green. Shot Pattern goes further. It takes your actual shot data and shows you where your ball is likely to land based on your club and target selection. See your tee shot arc and approach shot circle overlaid right on the satellite image of the hole you’re standing on. Take the guesswork out of where to aim. STROKES GAINED PREDICTOR Compare different club and target combinations to see the expected strokes gained outcome for each option. Should you hit driver or lay up with an iron? How aggressive should you aim at a tucked pin? The Predictor runs the math using your personal dispersion so you can make confident decisions instead of guessing. SHOT TRACKING & STROKES GAINED STATS Track every shot with GPS precision. Get shot by shot strokes gained breakdowns for driving, approach, short game, and putting. Filter by distance, lie, club, or round. Advanced analytics including Drives in Play, Big Misses, and Big 5 Score Killers help you find the patterns that are costing you strokes. 40,000+ COURSES WITH GPS & GREEN MAPS Satellite imagery on every hole. Measure landing areas. Course preview tools to plan your strategy before the round. Elevation data. Green maps to read breaks and plan approaches. USGA and R&A compliant for tournament and handicap play. CONNECT YOUR DATA Upload launch monitor data to build your dispersion profile faster. Share your stats with your coach. Multiple tracking modes including live GPS on course, Apple Watch, or post round manual entry. This app takes a little bit of time to learn how to use properly, however, between the great GPS features and shot tracking features, I like it better than all the other apps that are out there. It really allows you to pick smarter targets than other apps. I feel like that alone saves me strokes out on the course. I feel like I understand my approach distances much better. Also taking the time to learn how to track strokes gained with this app is worth the time invested. It really makes that simpler if you give it a chance to understand how it works.

If you are any type of avid golfer, this should be on your phone. The stats you get, the courses look great, and it’s just a great strategy app for golf courses. I use this for tournaments, rounds with the boys, just get it.

I don’t think I’ve ever rated an app. Ever. You need to be realistic if you get this app. If you are not a good player, this app is not going to help you. If you are a player who is a pseudo good player. By that I mean, you think you’re good but you really suck. You’re still gonna make stupid decisions. If you’re someone who lies, I’ll give you an example. I’ll call it the Donald Trump lie. You think you’d make it on tour in reality you are nowhere near that. Or if you swear you birdie, 30% of the holes or more. But you don’t come close to that without cheating. Or taking 1000 Mulligans or giving yourself gimmies to be under par. The bottom line is, if you’re not a good golfer, you were just giving them money to brag to people. Or to fool yourself still and fabricating that you are a good player when you’re not. This app is not about fabricating the numbers by that I mean, you hit your tee shot and let’s say. You hit your tee yards 236 yards, but in your head, you think the app is wrong cause you know you hit the ball 300 yards. And instead of letting the app honestly record your true driving distance. You drive so it registers where you want, this app isn’t for you. And finally, if you’re one of those says I bombed that one, I flushed that one. When all you did was finally hit the middle of the club face, you swear you hit your seven iron 190 or 200 yards. This isn’t for you. My closing point if you are a delusional fantasy golfer. Don’t download this app and lie to yourself like you do during your round or after. I am not saying you have to be this amazing player to download this app. You have to be realistic for this app to help you. I’ll give one final example I play golf all the time with someone who is 76 years old turning 77. And he was playing from the white tees. The one that I asked him hey, how far do you hit your average drive? He said 140 yards. So one day we were playing and I asked him to go up to the Ford tea and there was no one out on a course that day except us for whatever reason and so I asked him to hit a T shot and I went out to wear his ball stop. And laser from his ball back to him we weren’t down here or uphill. It was a flat hole. He hit his driver, 106 yards. So I could continue to have them do it uphill, hoes, downhill hoes, so I can get an average number. Finally, I added everything up and he hit his average drive 114 yards. So I say to him. Hey, we need to move you up. I said you need to let the ego go. I’m 46 and I said to him if I’m lucky enough to get the 76 I’m going to go to the place where I can realistically score on the holes that I’m playing. His name is Dave, I said hey Dave, you got arthritis you were a show the brace we riding in a handicap car when we play so that you don’t have to walk along distance. And you were trying to swing so hard once in a long part Ford do you remember that you fell over? He said yeah, what do you think I should play from so I moved him to places we were playing the round and he shot in the 70s. And so you know the longest par four I give to tee off him is 200 yards or closer, the longest par five 350 yards or closer. The average three I give him is 75 yards up 25 yards. And he shoots in the 60s and 70s now. And is so happy he keeps his scorecards. And I told him about the time that David Duval shot the 59 and people on tour were saying the course is short. I forgot who it was either Arnold Palmer or Jack Nicholas said, it doesn’t matter how short the course. You still have to golf your ball to shoot a 59. So I said, do you like constantly putting for a legitimate pars and birdies, as opposed to putting for a triple bogey or double bogey all the time. And he loves it. We play all the time now. My point, he went from being a delusional golfer, to an honest golfer. Now he plays from a distance that he can legitimately score from. So if you are a delusional golfer, do not download this app. It’s not going to work for you. And this is most likely the first and last review I will ever do. I hope it helps.
