  • Good content. Frustrating app

    I like seeing the deals and alerts but the app is horribly frustrating to use on my iPhone 11. Yes I’m on the latest firmware. Some grievances I have are: when I get a notification and click on it, it doesn’t open the app on that deal, opening the app normally is a 50/50 chance it does open, then sometimes when it does it’s not on my account so I have to workaround and login again. Basically it’s a failure to launch about 60-70% of the time

    The app has a lot of great potential and you see the notifications come in for deals, but just like Frontier, you never know if it’s going to take off. Even Boeing has less issues than the Going app and you end up either never getting into the app or the app stops working while in use.

    The concept is cool and the desktop web app works pretty well, but holy smokes guys. Optimize your algorithms. Sometimes I go to check deals and just give up because I’m stuck on the loading screen. And if there’s a super good limited time deal? Forget about it. They get so overloaded you can’t even access it. This legit might be the slowest iPhone app I’ve ever used and it’s getting worse. Considering canceling my membership.

    They really push you to use the app versus the website, but whenever there is a great deal, the whole thing stops working. I don’t know if that is the app or on the back end, but it makes for a bad user experience and an unhappy subscriber.

    The idea is there. The database isn’t. All the flights I see are way more expensive than online or apps like Hopper. It’s not even close. But a map that shows you the cheapest flights around the world without having to filter by date or location is a great idea. Too bad they couldn’t execute

    Downloaded the app after creating an account on the web and paying for the premium level. The log in times out due to "multiple redirect attempts" and never loads the log in screen.

    Trying to go to Peru, and just to look you need a subscription. Then after you get it, you can’t even chose your own dates. And once you click on the trip they randomly selected for you, it redirects you to google flights. It was a waste of time.

  • Gotta fix the loading times

    App works decently once you get in but the loading times are excessive and sometimes it stays stuck on the loading screen indefinitely. Fixing this should be a higher priority than any feature within the app

    Love Going’s service overall. We’ve gotten some stellar deals over the years. I like the app’s world map function a lot, however my goodness it takes forever to load. It’s been like this since day one, so hopefully they’re able to find a way to get us users past the loading screen faster.
