I had previously subscribed to this app and was considering re-starting my subscription, and I have no idea how to navigate it. I cannot seem to log any of my past days’ activities. I have no arrows to scroll to any past dates within any of the tasks, when asking for “Help.” There is no calendar.
  • Horrible app support

Literally crashes after the questionaire on the app every time, I asked the app support what to do about it. They suggested I sign up on the website. Also doesn’t calculate my ideal body weight from the measurements i gave it and constantly crashes when I am trying to update the measurements. I would sign up from the website but I would like to use the app daily for ease of use, if it’s crashing whenever I try to do anything on it and the IT answer is use the website, I’m not going to spend money on a trash platform.
  • Horrible new update

Loved this app to track calories until the newest update. They started doing “seed tracking” and it is very annoying. I try to quickly log my meals and now it takes me thru a whole animated journey. We aren’t 5 years old, change the app back.

I love this app so much. Trying to get wedding ready and it definitely keeps me informed, on track, and excited about my weight management goals!

Food log library is never updated. No more coaches. Honestly there are so many food logging apps that are better.
  • Gone Down-hill

The app used to be very good until recently when I believe the company had different ownership. A lot of features that were standard with a non subscription plan have disappeared and the overall performance has declined. Unless you want a personalized plan & coach with recipes, etc. you will pay a good sum for features that used to be part of the basic app. Very disappointing!

My biggest complaint with this app is that every other day or so I have to restart my phone with the app open because it hasn’t loaded completely. It will show me my steps but I have no way to enter meals. If there’s an update I can do the update and that essentially restarts it. But why are there updates every few days?!? I also greatly dislike the new seed feature. If I wanted a game I’d use a different app. It takes way to many seeds to get anything and it’s super easy to cheat to get them so the whole concept isn’t great and now, because of the seeds I can no longer look at previous days! Super irritating! I only use this to track calories. I was told it was the most accurate though it’s not very accurate at all. Sometimes I make a high protein low calorie cheesecake snack. So I pick a random cheesecake from the list and change the calories. It’s fast and easy. I need fast and easy. Now if o want to add calories of a meal I ate a week ago I can’t just look it up in my history. I don’t want to add every meal to my saved meals. I don’t have time or energy for that. And if you are a late night snack and forgot to enter it, forget it! You can’t do it the next day. Do they not understand the body works off calories averaged over weeks, not a single day! So yeah please get rid of the dumb seed feature and bring back my history so I can see how my whole week went!
  • Careful: can’t change you goal!

Noom is very effectively and I’d give it a 4.5 if I could. The strike against it is that when you onboard it asks if there is an event you would like to target. When I did the program the first time I set as a target date a friend’s wedding. 5 years later I wanted to start again, but the wedding is still my goal. And ai talked to tech support and there is truly no way to delete or change this, which is dumbfounding. Anyway, I did lose the weight for the wedding. Would be nice to be able to set another goal, though.
  • Update is AWFUL

The recent update to the app has rendered it unusable. Now, the only options for meal logging are to take a picture or describe your food. These options are difficult to use and result in wildly inaccurate estimates. These should be additional options to manual logging, not replacements. I’ve also lost the dozens of custom recipes I collected over years of use. So disappointed. It seems they’ve realized customers are unhappy, as they’ve offered me a promo code for a free year while they make improvements. Unfortunately it can only be applied using the website (who is using Noom via the website!?), which is impossible to log into. Customer service has not been able to help despite multiple attempts.
