  • App should track across multiple devices

I’ve diligently been using your App since March 5. On upgraded my iPhone on April 1 and all data and Apps from my old device migrated successfully to my new iPhone EXCEPT my Noom data. Your technical support team advises that this has been an issue when someone changes devices in the middle of their membership and there is reportedly nothing that they can do. My daily history cannot be restored, so I lost one month of diligent daily recording. Curiously, your App didn’t lose my payment information….and when the next subscription payment will be due. Your technology is quite disappointing.
  • Free App Disappointing

I’ve been using Noom for 6+ years and paid for subscriptions which I enjoyed, yet during times when I didn’t need a paid subscription, the free version was a great support system to let me keep tracking my weight, my meals/calories, and my steps. Very disappointed that the new version doesn’t allow me to keep logging my daily weigh ins, that I cannot type in my food journal, and does not show me calorie tracker. You’ve sidelined a group of people who listened to the education and continue to use the app as a good habit, and you took away access to my data that I’ve been using to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. I’m disappointed that now those basic features are now behind a very expensive subscription with more bells and whistles than needed this time. Bring back the basic free features!

This is a really good app and it does pay out rewards
  • Bloatware

It used to be a great app. And it still could be, if you can tolerate all the animations and extra bloat. Ironically, for a weight loss app, it’s become a bit bloatware itself. If there were an option to subscribe to a stripped down version focused just on food tracking, I’d sign up in a heart beat. I don’t need the animations, I don’t need to redo the course, and I don’t need ll the extra fluff. I just want a clean, simple way to track what I eat, because that part of the app is genuinely the best I’ve used!
  • What a joke

I tried Noom Med (the app plus compounded semaglutide/GLP-1) and it was an awful experience. They hooked me with an affordable first month and then $268/month for 3 months, but they take payment up front (3 months in one payment), and once they have your money they abandon you. I was having side effects and the doctor would take days to respond to my questions about what to do/dose adjustments. The app was okay, kinda glitchy, and felt more AI than personal. I don’t recommend.

Having been on Noom for almost a month I have lost a considerable amount of weight and by staying committed I’m able to make healthy food choices, and improving my health considerably at the same time. I feel great.

I’ve used the program before and was great but it seems to have gotten too big for the developer and team to keep up with. Meal logging is frustrating at best, imposible at worst. They rely on users to populate the food list but it’s almost always inaccurate. When I voice this the answer is “ we know it can be frustrating, but try entering items yourself”. Not helpful.
  • Poor quality all around

I had done compound semaglutide through a compound pharmacy directly and loved it. Wanted to try this company for the convenience. Do not waste your money! It did not work and is super hard to cancel

Really unimpressed - glad I didn’t pay for it (insurance covered it). The color coding based just on calorie density seems like a very one-dimensional approach. The worst part, by far, is the food logging system - the database is really lacking, and trying to add something yourself to use again the future is just terrible. Describing the meal is worthless (describe a chicken meal from a restaurant, etc., something common even, and it tries to put that you’re eating an entire chicken). It tries to motivate you and talks about having difficulty with the program that manifests in not logging meals or going to the app, but I’m not using the app as much because I dread trying to use the meal log.
  • Please do better.

This app is the worst. It doesn’t play well with other apps. It glitches and freezes ALL THE TIME. It doesn’t recognize some of the most common foods.
