  • Great but

I just downloaded the app as I wanted a different news source. I’m enjoying it but it won’t let me save anything. I hit the button and nothing happens. Annoying because often I don’t get to finish articles or want to refer to them later.

Reuters is excellent and not controlled by Bezos.

I was excited about the app until I was asked to subscribe for a fee. Yet another fee. So I deleted the app.
  • Subscribed but keeps requiring I sign in

Frustrated days into subscription. App constantly requires that I sign in and often it won’t allow me to do so using my Apple account. I am not willing to log in multiple times a week, so I will likely cancel my subscription.

This tracks. Sensationalized news apps -completely free. More objective apps, or pretty much the only one -paid only It's simple pattern recognition. It will still show up as a free option using search engines and AI platforms, but it is definitely not free in any way shape or form.
  • The gold standard, sometimes…

Grew up trusting Reuters as I watched my father rely on it every day for unbiased news. Now I struggle with the obviously anti Trump reporting they often and openly engage in.

  • Very poor app with biased news reporting

I find the app way worse than their own website and what’s available on Apple News. Also they refuse to cover news in an unbiased way - right now they do not report the damage occurring in Israel or to US bases in the Middle East. That means the people are ill-informed by “Reuters”. Makes them untrustworthy.
