  • New update is bad

I just needed to let the developers know that the new update where it’s a path is bad. I didn’t like it before, but now it’s horrible. It opens up in level 32 and we have to swipe 28 times to get to the level he was on. There needs to be an option to choose the levels quicker. Also I suggest that the map be zoomed out so that we could see what’s coming up next. Finally, some activities are way too hard. For example the Hat one, it gives 9 answer choices, my son always loses interest when he sees this activity, because it overwhelms him. The other difficult activity is the flash card shuffle, there needs to be less cards or maybe a difficulty slider on the parent portal. Please fix or we will need to find an alternative.

They all is great if your child needs that extra help. My child is retaining the information & learning how to read from it. I just hate the new update I don’t like how you can’t see the layout of the sections anymore & it doesn’t show what level your on. They need to go back to the old format this update is horrible

I love it. I played your whole math. program mostly I’ve played through the online part but not a multiplayer game amazing it uses animals so the kids want to follow the animals and do what the animals are doing and amazing game two bugs like on the floating pumpkins one where you at on phonics pick what they say and like there’s a big part of a pumpkin that just appears and covers up most your screen, but at least at least you can still see the answers so yeah but please whoever made hooked on phonics. Please fix it.
  • Please change to the old format

With the new format the app opens to step 41, while my kid is at step 2 and we have to scroll all the way back to 2 every single time. She comes out of the app and again it’s step 40/41. She moves on to math and comes back, and we have scroll back. Is there any way to add an index on the side or an option to clip the chapter where we stopped? With the old format it was so much easier for her to navigate.

We’ve only had this app for a few weeks. We have a 3 year old so we are working on letter sounds. When we first started using the app you could choose what letters to work with and review them as needed. Now the update the app no longer lets you pick the letters you work with and insist we do skills we are not ready for. This is incredibly frustrating since she WAS learning and loving this app. I’ve looked everywhere and at all the setting and it still won’t let me choose which groups of letters she learns for a lesson or to put things back on a pre reader level.
  • Why we left

The pre- reading section needs to be just level A and B reading only. It jumps too advanced too quickly with longer paragraphs. We did not renew because the app doesn’t offer a lifetime subscription, which is unfair for those with disabilities. The other reason we ended the subscription, was because the graphics and content were not engaging enough to learn from. I repeatedly requested a lifetime special needs subscription. They repeatedly blew me off. They are a billion dollar industry that has been around for decades. They did away with lifetime subscriptions a few years ago. Knowing this all I refuse to continue my subscription. There are plenty of other reading apps that will do lifetime subscriptions.
