    First off Google maps is great. It gets 2 star review because it is lacking a building GPS speedometer. It is available certain areas according to some entries returned by Google. Otherwise it is a accurate and correct with its maps and routes.

  • Removal of false reviews

    Ironic i am here leaving an actual review.. Googles security and customer service is bottom end. Googles team does not prioritize their customers. They ignore all messages to remove false reviews on your business page. Once the review was finally removed after 8 months… it still affects our google rating. Its been a month since Google has reviewed and removed the false review. Ive left numerous emails and messages to fix our rating. Have not heard anything from Google. They openly allow fake accounts to leave false reviews. They dont take action to fix this issue that could cause harm to your business. Ive searched peoples questions about google removing reviews and all the answers are the same “google fixed our issues within 2 weeks” Those are false answers that googles representatives fill out to make their “employer” look like their doing something… You are better off starting new and renaming your business/google page rather than dealing with Google’s representatives that dont care about their customers.

    The app is getting lost on roads it knew a week ago. Starting on Monday, it kept crashing and also would point the wrong direction on a road and then when I would correct it it would lag horribly and I missed my turn a couple times. I was headed to the San Diego airport so come on that is a commonly navigated route it should have no problem

    I recently upgraded my iPhone. The first time I used google maps with it Siri was over the top in making Maps unusable and in fact so obtrusive that it was in fact dangerous. Was this in an attempt to force me to use apple’s map app. Who knows. I would not put it past Apple. It in fact would not show a search line with the exception of forcing me to use Siri. This was after I pulled over and had typed in the airport. Thereafter Siri wouldn’t allow me the ability to retype in directions. Only displaying Siri as option to input desired the location. What was that as Siri then refused to complete directions to an international airport because it determined after I started driving that it didn’t know where I had started from. Kept telling me to go to settings to allow exact location which guess what was already turned on. Needs safety fix now. What federal agency needs to be reported to

    I have been using this app for as long as I’ve had a smartphone like the majority of us. But I don’t know why it crashed every time I use it. I open it, or an address, takes FOREVER to load, finally loads. And then crashes. OR- When I switch to another app for a few seconds, I come back and it’s crashed. It’s impossible to use for more than a minute. I used to be a beta tester but I stopped, thinking that would help, but I think now it’s arguably worse.
