  • Sony Lawsuit Makes Music Disappear

    An already limited music library further dwindled by all the music they were forced to take off due to Sony’s lawsuit for copyright infringement. I literally watched tracks in my playlists decimated by the hundreds. The audacity to push this social project and not address the customers about why we’ve lost so much music. Trump level distraction. You would think a company with such a stigmatized past would have their stuff together. No explanation, no apology. Just “nothing to see here”. Trying to hope people don’t catch on. It’s deceitful. Looking for something better.

    Let me tell you how it goes, you get signed out every month. when you try to log in, i doesn’t even recognize your LITERAL PASSWORD, you can type it in correctly 3 thousand times and still have to start the app over twice to get it working. Oh want to add a song to your playlist? Well once you do it has to reboot your wholeee playlist, I have over a thousand songs so i don’t even use my playlist anymore because it doesn’t know how to function. Doesn’t have a majority of modern songs. Sometimes when you click on a song it refuses to play it and skips to the next one, even skipping that one too. Apps a dumpster fire don’t even think about downloading.

    My grandmother attempted to pull up some music from Ozzy, only to see a karaoke version by Anna Gramm and none of his songs. This is a horrid time to remove Ozzy, and I’m sure the Blizzard (fellow Ozzie fans) are disgusted by this decision. Needless to say we will be listening to music on Google now, as we bid adieu to this application.

    Used to be a great app and now the last couple years it’s been trash! Never plays when you want it to play or won’t play certain songs. Super frustrating app.

    I wanted to like this service, because they actually pay artists, but the app is too janky to be worth it. When you make a station based on a song, it plays that song twice before going to a new one. Some artists/musicians have two pages when you search for them. It’s just not user friendly

    When is the music going to be updated two extended albums that I want have been released a for weeks and one for a couple of days and I need them on this app. Normally it seems automatically updated but I’m about to switch music apps because I shouldn’t have to wait so long for something all the other music apps have!!! I’ve always loved this app. RIP Napster😭

    So it is not that bad. I love it and it has a lot of song. I’ve tried other music apps and they don’t give all the songs I want. I don’t really like that you have to pay to listen to 1 song only like you have to pay to 1 SONG! But it’s good.

    You used to get music right away, now in some cases not at all. I’ve been with you since the beginning. I can’t believe I’m considering canceling. The new Lady Gaga album! All the streaming services had on the Friday it came out. You still don’t have it. The new Dolly Parton and Morgan Wallen songs you still don’t have. What’s going on??? I really don’t want to switch!
