Its a pretty good photo editor and editor, yeah sure it might not be photoshop, but its probably the best out there that doesnt cost too much. The non premium version

Great for editing a picture many times, each item has its own layer, better than Microsoft Paint
  • Does the basics, as expected

This does exactly what you'd expect from a basic image editing app. Not as convoluted as other free apps (GIMP) and not as feature rich as apps costing dozens or requiring a subscription (Adobe anything). And lots of keyboard shortcuts if you're into that. I use this for simple background removal (alpha channel) and erasing in images and it works perfect for that. Could it use more tools like finer rotation, maybe. But the $5 I paid years and years ago have been well worth it. Here's hoping this app stays around for years to come.
  • You're really going to add a watermark?

There's a watermark on every image. Whoever made this needs to be a little less egotistical
  • No Rotation Option, No Scroll Zoom, Purchase is Subscription

This would be perfect, except you cannot rotate things and there is no scroll wheel zoom. This is a very unfortunate oversight. You can flip but that's not appropriate in many cases and it's a pain even when it is. This would be 5-star and I would glady buy the full version if that feature was included. This is the closest I've come to a simple '90s ClarisWorks-like drawing program that I've been searching for forever, but even ClarisWorks added the rotation option later in the '90s. And you can only manually zoom in 10% increments so it's inevitably either too big or too small. Update: The full purchase is only a 3-year subscription but I didn't see this anywhere until after I purchased it. I wouldn't mind but I find that sneaky. Downgrade to 2 stars.

Just wanted to do a few sketches to try the app. But warned me at every step to upgrade for very very simple tasks. And in the end, they left a transparent logo of their own on my work!
  • Poor app

Upgrade to Pro was a waste of $5 to find out it can't work well. Difficult to use and can'y effectively grop objects
  • Good App. Suits my needs, but…….

It would be really nice if after you dropped in a shape, you could rotate it. Flipping horizontally or vertically is not enough. I need to be able to tilt the shape in the direction I want it to go. Other than that at the moment, I enjoy the app and I’ve created some cool pieces with it.

I used to use a PC and paste Excel Cells and into paint. You cannot do this in a MAC. I tried just about every program out there. This one works like a charm among other things too. Worth purchasing .
  • It crashed and I lost my work.
