The computer app is wonderful as is the browser app, just incredible everything I could want, however when trying to sync my google calendar with the app, it keeps failing. I would have the app on my phone but due to this issue I’ll just stick with the computer app. I don’t know how to resolve the issue and didn’t find nothing relating to it when I looked up the issue.

When I looked at my phone today, the widget was black. I removed it and went to add it back but the Todoist app apparently doesn’t have a widget anymore!

Customer Service slow and terrible. You cannot reach him by phone at all. I find the Google task much easier to work with.

This is hands down one of the best apps I’ve ever used. I initially downloaded to keep lists but it’s so much more than that. My Apple notes app decided one day to delete ALL my data - including notes of my baby’s progress growing up, etc. and it broke my heart! I looked at MANY apps to replace it and I’m so glad I found this one. I have one grocery list with sections of the store, one list for my Bible studies and verse memorizations, and I’m even using it to plan my wedding! The list function is great, you can add several sub lists and description notes, etc. add reminders, and having a customizable widget on my homescreen is a great function.

Todoist is far more than a task manager. With the new calendar integration and all of the cool and useful features they’ve added in the past year, I can now manage my life in a single app. The integrations are fabulous. The newsletters they send periodically are actually very helpful. I prefer to do the heavy lifting of weekly planning on the desktop version, and then use the app on my Apple devices, including my watch, throughout the day. I’m looking for an improved Apple Watchface integration someday soon. Otherwise, cheers to the development team!

I have searched for years to find a simplistic and yet comprehensive organizational tool. I believe that I found it. With most of these apps, I only touch the surface because there are far too many steps to get to the meat of what I need. Todoist has captured me in that simplistic way.

  • Needs 1 feature to be 5 stars

I’ve been using this app for years. Started using it while I was in the military, got out and have used it through my bachelors, masters, and now working through my PhD it’s a life saver. I’ve tried almost every top “productivity” app recommended by the YouTube professionals and I always end up back with Todoist. I may be biased because I’ve become so accustomed to the nuances of the app but to me it’s so simple and straightforward, I tell it a date and time and it the event, boom, it’s in the app. I can delineate priorities and groupings, it’s nice. I don’t use the import to calendar feature because the permissions with academic institutions do not allow for integrations. So I do use it as a stand alone app with the widget being the only thing on my Home Screen. My one complaint and/or requirement to make it a 5 star app. Please please please steal the feature from most platforms to use the @ symbol to include people without having to assign a task to a project. Not every task needs a project assignment. It’s me being picky and the work around that I could and just did as I am typing this up is |create project, “household” (+ assign random trivial tasks to this group), when tasks include my wife @ her, done.| Sure, now all I have to do is assign a task to that project but, that one additional step is an inconvenience lol. I wish I could just assign tasks or include on tasks with the @ symbol without having to assign to a project.
