Todoist offers a nice big to do list on my homescreen, exactly what I was looking for. I look at it every day and add tasks, lists and little notes to it all the time. I wish the homescreen widget could be the whole screen instead of 2/3 but it's not a big deal. I literally love this app so much, it has changed my game. There are a lot of other functions I haven't looked into, and seem great, but I highly recommend it if you are just looking for a to-do list widget for your home screen.

i like the app as it is right now, for a minute i was a bit disappointed that it sent me a notification at 4pm about how the day is winding down and to check what tasks i have left for the day! i work late in the day so my day really doesnt start until after noon 😂 but thankfully i was able to change what time the morning and evening notifications come, and now its nicely tailored to my schedule :) excellent

This product helps clear my head of the daily tasks that need to be completed through out my day. It helps put to action the items that are floating around my head. Most importantly it keeps me accountable.

  • Missing tasks on phone app

I have used this for a couple years and it seemed to work well. But recently when reviewing all take and updating multiple projects, I realized tasks were missing on the iOS phone app. After much concern and debugging (project showed empty on phone and tablet but did in a backup and on laptop app, tasks didn’t show in a search - phone or tablet, I filed a ticket with details and screenshots. This is a big problem - not able to see and therefore not working on tasks, let alone a loss of faith in the product. Missing tasks ranged from ones created recently to ones not touched for over a year. Todoist phone did show a sync had happened seconds before (with the tasks showing). It took several business days to get a canned reply (eg were they marked completed?), I redirected them to look at the info I originally sent. Another business day and I was told to log off and log on but first gather info on all phone tasks that were not properly synced or data could be list. No way to do this with software (eg a backup of phone tasks). I have thousands of tasks, even if only 100, it is unreasonable to ask this of a user. Todoist needs debugging software to determine which tasks were not properly synced. Support is not at the level it was when I first started. And despite me paying for the product trouble tickets are the only contact with the company. I requested a way to prevent sync problems and a way to confirm phone tasks info was not lost. I don’t expect thru will do either task. It is unreasonable to ask a user to log off and lot on regularly in case sync is not working, each time spending ton of time to confirm all phone tasks are correctly updated on the webpage. A severe bug that really undermines the trust in the application, I am off to review other task apps as I need a reliable one.

I have been using this app for over a year. I’ve used it as a manager in a professional setting as well as use it in my personal life. The ONLY thing I would change is to be able to select the time when the next day starts. I work second shift and do a lot of nightly tasks after midnight but would still like for then to count as the same day. I will continue to use the app and hope an update for that comes out soon.
  • love it.

    By pretty good app 🎀
Hey all! Im honestly someone who has very bad time management skills and gets stressed or overwhelmed easily. I always try to be consistent and not procrastinate too much. When I heard of this app, I had to try it. Turns out, it took a turn in my life. Thanks to this app, my schedule is more organized and I have more time for myself now.
  • Powerful features but manageable if you don't need them

Needed to move on from the dysfunctional Microsoft To Do with worse-than-non existent customer support, because, well, it was free and you get what you pay for. Todoist is easy to get started with a list and shared lists so my husband and I can assign each other tasks or keep a running grocery list to avoid last minute texting to get this or that. As I got more comfortable with it I've started using more advanced features. Very happy to be paying for a good product instead of being frustrated for free. Thanks!!!
