I searched through like a dozen To Do list apps several years ago, and Todoist was the one I ultimately decided on. No regrets! It has pretty much all the functions I wanted from a to do list app, and it keeps getting improved all the time.

Todoist has easily replaced any other task manager I have used. Including ones that are much more steeply priced. I can easily manage projects, while at the same time having the freedom to navigate between contextual lists of calls, email, office, and errands. The feature I am enjoying to most is being able to type out any @label, reminder, or scheduled date within the body of the task and have Todoist automatically schedule it for me. My weekly reviews are easy, and the fact that it runs on my MacBook and iPhone means I will never miss task as long as I capture it. Update 2025. I am once again reaffirming that for me and my scattered brain, Todoist is the best suited app for me to keep everything together. I recently tried Nirvana, 👎. And when I came back to Todoist, I was so relieved that I bought a subscription, and I rarely by subscriptions.
  • Will not sync- no support

The app will not sync with my google calendar. The answers are generic and do not help. No way to contact a person for answers. If this is supposed to be one of the best apps, I am not trying any others. Get new users set up and synced with human help before overwhelming me with all the other things! First task is syncing And setting up the app. You have totally failed in this respect. Requesting a refund immediately. Zero stars

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Seamless Productivity Powerhouse — Worth Every Cent As a power user who relies on Todoist across iOS, the web, and the native Mac app, I can confidently say this is the most indispensable tool in my daily workflow. Whether I’m managing complex work projects or keeping home life organized, Todoist handles it all with elegance and precision. The cross-platform sync is flawless — I can jot down a task on my phone during a meeting, refine it on my Mac later, and check it off from the web app at work. It’s fast, intuitive, and never misses a beat. The interface is clean yet powerful, with enough customization to satisfy even the most detail-oriented planner without overwhelming casual users. I use the Pro version, and it’s worth every cent. Features like labels, filters, and reminders elevate the experience from “helpful” to “essential.” I’ve tried other task managers, but none come close to Todoist’s balance of simplicity and depth. It’s not just a to-do list — it’s a command center for life. If you’re serious about staying organized and want a tool that grows with you, Todoist is the gold standard.
  • Buggy and unsupported

I have consistently had 403 errors every few days for weeks. Support has not addressed the issue. Too bad, because the app is great when it works. If you’re looking for a place to set up a productivity ecosystem I have to recommend you look elsewhere—there’s no way to access the app if you’re not logged in so when these issues happen you have none of your todo items, projects, or even list categories available locally.

I almost never right reviews. I immediately did here when asked because this app has been that impactful. I had been struggling as I had been taking on more responsibility in work, in my relationship, with my friends, sports, health, family etc etc. I felt like my head was spinning, I was overwhelmed and exhausted. Then I realized there must be a productivity solutions and todolist came top of my search list with amazing reviews. It’s been incredibly and I immediately got my fiancée using it and would recommend it to anyone who would ask. My productivity has skyrocketed

I downloaded this to keep track of my school assignments, and it’s a total game changer. It’s simple to use, but also really powerful if you want to customize things. One of my favorite features is the Karma Levels. They really give me a sense of progress and motivation. I think Todoist is a great app for anyone who wants to stay on top of their work and be more productive. Thank you SOOO MUCH Todoist team!!!

Oh my gosh the amount of spam this company sends at you, avoid. If they could just let you use the app instead of the incessant emails and reminders and forced add ons and things they want you to do I’d keep it.
