I love to follow cruise ships when my family is on board.
  • Plan does not include all boats

From the description it seems that you get access to all the boats except when using the app with a satellite service but it does not. I am at home and can only get the boats that are close to shore. They want more money to get every boat. Waste of money for me

We used the app to identify ships passing Bald Head Island while on vacation. Now I use it to check the location of containers coming to port for business

I visit the beach at least once a week, and throughout the years, MarineTraffic has consistently been my preferred choice for tracking ships. It works seamlessly on both Android and Apple devices, and it satisfies my curiosity about maritime traffic.
  • Swipe Up?

Great app. Well made in all ways. I do have a problem now where it is very hard to swipe up to change apps. Swiping up scrolls the map unless I catch it just at the right moment. The bar across the bottom indicating swiping up is possible is rarely there. iPhone 11 Pro and all current on updates.
  • So much fun!

We’re camping on the St Clair River in Michigan this weekend. It was helpful to know when ships would be cruising by. The information on each ship was interesting, especially how long each ship was and where they were headed.
