    It has most features of desktop app but lacks a few most important ones: don’t allow users to copy any text, descriptions, comments, replies. IOS supports it and they disabled it. It also stops the shorts if you turn off the screen. No need.

    Creators can’t even report the news. Since there is too much censorship on content. Creators are restricted from saying too many words to report news type content or being forced to blur out things.

    There’s a LOT of problems I’ve experienced recently with the app. What should be things that should have been patched out years ago have all started to rear their heads, almost all at once. What follows below is a list of problems I’ve noticed in just the past 6 months: -Miniplay causes videos to either display a black screen or a grey screen with the loading wheel instead of the video itself -Ads cause videos to start over altogether for no reason -Trying to remove items off my recent searches doesn’t display the “Delete” button properly. Instead, there’s just empty space. The red shows up only briefly on the far left but not enough to click. -Double tapping to fast-forward/rewind often doesn’t work either. It will give me the option to pause/play the video, but not skip ahead or go back -The search bar is sometimes just… not even there -Scrolling sometimes stops completely. It’ll scroll a little bit after I stop and then the touchscreen just doesn’t respond. I can still exit the app but I cannot interact with the menus in the app -Clicking on my subscribed channels in the subscription tab, clicking to a different tab, then clicking back to Subscribtions causes the whole page to be stuck on that one channel if I don’t click off of it first before switching tabs. I then cannot exit that channel’s uploads or switch between channels -Perhaps the most egregious one: Replaying videos sometimes causes the audio to skip ahead anywhere between a few seconds to several minutes. This can also happen multiple times in the same video, resulting in it ending prematurely. The video itself doesn’t skip forward, however, resulting in audio desync followed by the video ending halfway through. I would understand if these were launch day glitches, but I’m having a very hard time understanding why this app, which is over a decade old, can have these kinds of problems that CONTINUE to go unfixed with each patch. Updates do nothing to fix it. It’s as if the staff has given up. The service is fine, but upkeep is the most miserable it’s ever been. Do better, YouTube :(

    Seems all videos have more constant unrelated ads. What’s the give pushing people to pay for no ads!

    Good but just too many ads and you can’t do simple features without buying premium. But it’s pretty good.
