    Do they have a bunch of titles? Yes. Can you access those titles? No. Unless you’re paying for a premium subscription, you have access to nothing you actually want access to. They also don’t make it easy to sort the unlimited options that are included for free Within their catalog. I try to search for the unlimited or free titles, it doesn’t actually sort them. As someone who primarily listens to audiobooks because I have a long commute and do not have time to sit and read a physical book, it is incredibly frustrating to have such pitiful plans to choose from.

    I love the selection of books that includes most new releases. I am in the car a lot and listen to 50-60 audiobooks per year. I love being able to listen to new releases without having to wait for the library app or purchasing them individually. My only complaint is that the app routinely crashes when I’m in the car. I have to restart the app several times per day. Most of the time, if I turn off the car or disconnect from CarPlay, I have to restart the app to continue listening. But otherwise, it’s great. Great titles. Great audio.

    It is very frustrating to be listening to an audio book in the car and the app crashes. It happens driving to work, when I’m doing house work or even trying to look for books to read. This used to be my favorite app and now I have to cancel my subscription. It’s a shame because I still love using Scribd because it has a plethora of books and most importantly it doesn’t crash! Please fix this issue

    The audio player is super buggy and sometimes wouldn’t work at all on titles I had paid for, so I couldn’t even listen to the book that I paid $12 for. And if you cancel your subscription, you lose access to everything that you’ve paid for so you basically buy audiobooks that you have to keep paying for indefinitely in order to listen to. Anything worth reading or listening to is premium and requires you use one of your “unlocks.” Also, you get one “unlock“ a month, and it *doesn’t* roll over!! Isn’t that crazy? I was trying to leave Amazon but it’s back to Audible (and free books via my library’s Hoopla access) for me.

    This app is essentially Netflix for books. You pick a subscription level and that gives you the amount of books you’re allowed to listen to with in a month. If you cancel your subscription, you cannot listen to any books you downloaded previously. Example: you signed up for 2 books this month. You canceled your subscription at the end of the month. if you didn’t finish your current book, you will not be able to listen to it after the canceled day. Now u decided to restart the membership to finish it. That’s great. You however have lost your other credit with no refund. Hope that helps/makes sense. **note, customer support is all AI based so good luck getting an issue resolved

    Small issue is I wish you could separate your finished books from the ones you still need to read. If there is a way I haven’t figured it out. My biggest issue is credits are never on time. If they say the 2nd they mean the 3rd.

    Just wait till Audible drops their special of 3 months for 99¢ a month, get your books and keep them forever unlike this app. Will probably crash and burn which is a shame as it was a good app. But they got greedy so oh well.

    So much has changed with these subscriptions and I finally canceled . The value isn’t worth it. It used to be fun to go through and read so many things without being limited. Don’t recommend.

  • Terrible waste of money

    Years ago this was a great app. You could truly listen to unlimited books. Now they are more like audible but with more hassle. Save your time and money. This is not worth it. I couldn’t even get a free trial to work for my son on his phone.
