  • Much Better

I decided to give app a little to fix issues before I deleted it. I am able to listen to books again that are not new releases. Thank you for fixing that part.
  • I’ve never used to a more buggy app.

The app locked more than half the books in my library, books that I unlocked with my monthly credits. It kept saying I exceeded the amount of devices I could use. I was logging in my phone and iPad, most people have multiple devices. Anyways I went end deleted the app from my phone and only kept my iPad and wait several days for my books to unlock installing and reinstalling my app. When I tried to reach customer service they kept asking for all the titles and screenshots weren’t enough. Deleting this app. Audible might be a little more expensive but at least your books are actually your.
  • Selling access, not content

When I was told about a cheaper alternative to Audible I was thrilled to try it. 3 books a month for the same amount I would typically pay for 1? Sign me up! However, unlike Audible, you are not buying these titles. You are buying ACCESS to them. This means that if you ever want to skip a month here and there (which I ended up having to do because 3 titles a month is a lot to get through sometimes), you cannot listen to the titles you’ve already downloaded. Completely defeats the purpose of pausing a membership if I can’t use that time to catch up on my reading. I felt so scammed. Audible may be more expensive, but at least the book is yours after you purchase it regardless of your account status. If you’ve got the money to spend consistently and you read/listen REALLY fast, maybe this is the app for you. But if you’re a busy mom like me, where sometimes you can listen to a book in two days and other times it takes you a whole month, this app does not offer the same flexibility as Audible. And remember, even if you have the time and the money, you’re paying for ACCESS to these titles. They do not belong to you in any capacity, and you WILL lose access the minute you stop paying.

Like everything else in 2025, Everand has gotten steadily worse. I am a paid subscriber and have been for several years, and it’s increasingly evident that subscribers will continue to get less and less for the same cost, if not more. If you go into the FAQs, it says “certain” audiobooks and ebooks have limitations, which means that I need to a) wait a month; or b) fork over more money for the same amount of content I received as a paid subscriber two years ago. I will probably not renew my subscription. Support libro.fm and your local library instead.

Do not download this app. It’s worst than audible. It used to be unlimited but now you only get 1-3 book a month. For the same price. Clearly someone never heard of audible bc we already have an app run on greed. There is no point in dealing with this if you can just use audible that has a wider collection anyway.
  • Very unstable on iPhone

The application was updated sometime in the last 3 to 5 weeks and ever since then it has been extremely unstable and stops working multiple times a day.
  • Wait What!! Premium to Standard?

I like many other Scribd subscribers have been a long time user and I am not a fan of the new subscription model either. You want me to move from a premium monthly plan to a standard plan and if I choose to I can upgrade to plus. In what world would you willingly move from a premium model to a standard for the same price in any industry? We should be grandfathered in and automatically move to the next level in your new model; the cost is the same. Two levels premium and plus would’ve made more sense. On top of all this, many of the books I previously saved you have now put them in your new model and I can’t gain access anymore. The capitalism in this country is getting ridiculous. Where is the customer loyalty!
  • Not worth it

When you cancel you loose access to all material even what was paid for. Also if you don’t use the monthly credit you loose it. The app also takes too long to load books and freezes often

Broken app, registered and paid 3 days ago. Whenever I go to download a title it takes me me back to the payment page.
