    Easy to use as locates course for you. Summarizes your performance over many rounds to give you strengths and weaknesses. You can choose how much you engage as doesn’t force you to do anything but keep score if that is all you are looking for.

    The app is easy to use and to share results with other golfers. I really like the gps as it gives you the yardage to the front and back of the greens.

    When I first purchased this app I was very happy. My only complaint was the number of things that were offered to keep track of including the number of drinks consumed. Crazy. My issue or the reason I’m only leaving 3 stars is there is a contact link where you can report issues. 4 times I’ve sent the emails w/o any replies back to take care of the problems I’m having. Issue one. iPhone and watch sync fine. Last year both would stay open the complete round giving accurate distances. This year the watch would go into sleep mode and you’d have to reopen the app. Just recently the phone does the same thing. Goes into sleep mode right after you check the distance. You come back to add your score or check another distance and you have to reopen the app again. Issue two. One course had a hole under repair and we had to skip the hole. You can’t put a zero in for that hole. You scroll the shots down and it won’t go to 0 it stops at 1. So you’re forced to take a 1. I would love to have a hole in one but this isn’t the way, not to mention it affects your handicap. Like I said I’ve sent 4 emails asking for help and no answers back. Maybe posting an unfavorable review will help. Zzz

    I was ready to start around and all of a sudden the app shut down on me. I couldn’t login and then they locked me out. No way to contact them to fix it. Good luck.

  • Promising Looks, Disappointing Performance

    Initially checks all of the boxes. As you use it you realize they care more about being a social media platform than they care about golfing. Usability issues are too many to list but even after weeks of use I kept having to resuscitate rounds from “unfinished” when the watch app failed or mobile shut down the session between GPS and scorecard. There are better apps for less with fewer annoying social details.

    I had problems every 9 hole round I played with the Watch app, after 6 or 7 holes it would glitch out and end the round. Made several reports, uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Then went out of town, and it had the gps all wrong for the course I was playing. When it works, it’s a great app, but has many issues.

    The App is amazing. The distance is amazingly accurate and that you can also just turn on and it recognize the course that you are playing. Even when there are multiple courses on the same location.
