  • Does Google make this intentionally bad?

While Drive technically works, the user experience is incredibly clumsy and awkward, making the entire app feeling more like an afterthought than a finished product, especially on iPad: the larger screen realestate is not leveraged at all for better usability, a lot of the functions of Drive on the web are absent from the app, it is worse in every way than the iPad's built-in Files app - the only redeeming quality of Drive being that it enables a Files integration, where the UX is marginally better. Come on Google, you can do better!

Google just deleted pics and files I had for years, and when I tried to contact them, they couldn't do anything about it. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Unable to quickly attach a file to an email that I need to send in. Other than that it would be great!
  • Separates files from folders

This drive is very hard because it seems to separate files from their folder and leave you with a long list of Mismatched files. It makes it very hard to use as a centrsl system for a team. It should operate just like an d fashioned file cabinet. Think of the old days, someone coming in snd pulling all your files out of folders and putting them all into one big stack. Maybe alphabetized but not coherent with subject matter and far more to search through than just a folder if you forget the name of the Gilf you are looking for.

Whenever I need to store something special, I store it on Drive. It’s always a few finger taps away, and it’s always there. Wonderful!!!
