    The last update ruined this app. Audio Bible doesn’t work. Limited translation on audio. Used to be my favorite. Looking for a new one.

    This used to be a truly helpful app. It was easy to look up Scripture passages or key words. But the recent change has made it one of the most obnoxious apps to use. Apologies for saying this, but it’s t’s like a drunk person put it together. It is no longer intuitive. An annoying “In app purchases not allowed” pops up every time you open it. I was going to re-subscribe, but not after this mess came up! There are plenty of other apps to choose from. I had wanted to be loyal, but I just can’t with all the unhelpful changes. Nothing about it is better… nothing I could find

    I have a BibleGateway Plus account but the app does not recognize my account. When I go to the account information, it shows that I have a plus account, but then when I try to access resources the app says I need to sign up for a plus account to view the resources. I’ve reached out to customer service at least 3 times but have gotten no responses. If this is a tech issues that you guys are working on, then email back letting me know. But to ignore my customer support requests is just disrespectful. In all fairness, the web version is great, but the disregard just feels disrespectful so I will likely not be renewing my subscription.

    The new update. I have to say the features are so nice like advancing the reader to 1.25x etc. it’s lovely to listen a little quicker however when using my iphone, the app has to constantly be open without it pausing or stopping the read aloud. Another feature I miss was skipping back to the previous chapter from the read aloud. It allows you to replay the whole chapter but if have to go on the chapter previously to make sure that I can listen to it again and it’s so frustrating. The foreface looks a lot nicer for sure but some of the functions need to come back.

    About time you update this app after 10 long year no wonder the app was useless! I do like the modern style makes sense to me and I love it . You have to consistently update and keep up with the updated software on the manufacturer devices. Don’t repeat the same mistakes. And asking people to help you support you bad judgements while encouraging people to pay for your problems now that was shameful!

    I tried to open this app yesterday—an app I’ve used for several years now—and I cannot get around in it. First, it’s only in one language, and not my native tongue. Can’t find a way to switch it to English. I type in a Scripture reference and get a notice that it’s not found in the Bible … don’t know exactly where to go with that. Basically, I can open and close the app—that’s all I have a the moment. Thought maybe the company would have been able to fix it overnight, but my expectations were too high. So, what gives? Is it no longer free?
