Some news articles just aren't newsworthy and seems to print gossip columns instead of real news they are famous for. Disappointing new format too👎😕
  • New iPad Format Inefficient

I have enjoyed the USA Today iPad app for several years. Today it updated to a new format: instead of 2-3 columns of article links in 3 rows, now it’s a single screen-wide column of articles that essentially fit one article across the screen, and I now find that I have to do endless and huge scrolling to see just a handful of articles. What’s worse is that I can’t find a way to return to the prior format, which was far more efficient for scanning article headlines to find content in which I’m interested. This may prove frustrating enough to cause me to drop my subscription. The content is hood, but the presentation just took a leap backward from what had been excellent to what appears to me to be a change merely for the sake of change. Please return to excellence!

Downloaded the latest update with HORRIBLE new format. Isn't there any adult supervision for the kindergarten class that was assigned to “improve” the app? Just awful …

After an update, can’t open Sudoku. Please fix. The Sudoku is still not working and the Crossword option is gone. Please do something.

The new format for Top Stories is horrible, have to scroll much more to find items of interest. Lots of blank space everywhere

This new format displays the articles so large, 1 or 2 articles in the feed on the screen in landscape mode of my iPad, that when I position the iPad so that I can read the synopsis I can no longer reach my iPad to scroll through the articles.

Does not gouge you for money like Apple News does! Covers many of my interests.
