  • Fast News in a Good App

This app provides “quick news” everyday, if you want long, in depth analysis with huge amounts of data, there are apps for most major news outlets that will provide you with that level of information. USA Today has always been my go to news source when I just need an overview of the day’s headlines and events. The app does a great job of providing that without bogging me down with excessive detail or “in-depth” analysis. Most days “just the facts” is my go to goal. This app does that superbly.

Downloaded because of TMobile offer. Too many ads in the app. Deleted it.
  • Preferred old version

I liked the old version better, USA today was my "go to" first for news because it had a layout that was easy to read, like a newspaper, and easy to find articles now it has flashy and duplicate articles in print and video, I have been reading others more lately, the Guardian and BBC news. No longer happy with it.
  • It’s 2024, it needs a dark mode for games

Is this the last remaining app that doesn’t support dark mode? I’m referring to the puzzle interface. Some of us like to do the crossword without staring into the sun :)

I never read USA today obviously I’ve seen it around, but I am glad I did finally. TMobile gave a 1 year subscription for $1.00 so I couldn’t pass it up. I’m glad I did I think I’ll keep getting it after the year is up.
  • Another scam

Once again they lure you in by using a 3rd party to give you a discount for the first year, being clear that it will automatically renew at the regular price in a year. You go into the app and see ads, if you want ad free it’s $69.99 for the first year and then $89.99 2nd year. I guess that’s in addition to the $39.99 per year for the subscription? Does anyone intentionally click on internet ads?
