The only way to add cars in your collections is to scan the bar code. Then you have to scroll through thousands of cars in hopes of finding the one you have. Really wish you could search the name of your car to narrow it down.
  • Ok but no cross platform

Unfortunately there is no Android version so if you use both skip the app. While it does have barcode scanning, it never seems to get it right. There seems to be no overview in the metadata so cars can be entered multiple times with no clear details to indicate which one you want without digging into each option. One car was listed 7 times for example all with the same title.

I have been trying for a long time to find a way to manage my Hot Wheels collection. This app allows me to create listings for each car which includes pictures, details, and current values for them. It’s easy to use. Has lots of features and multiple ways to enter your vehicles. The search features are incredible.

I love this app. Needed a way to keep track of everything so when I’m out getting more I know what I have and don’t. Only problem is is that I have a new phone and this app isn’t available on google play store. I know the icollect everything is on there but don’t wanna have to go through the process of entering everything again. Will it be available there soon?

I’ve found that once items are added, if updates are wanted (picture, for sale status, quantities, etc) once “save” is clicked, the desired info isn’t updated. It may take 3-5 attempts to correct, that is, if the app doesn’t crash trying. Emailed support, got no response, might have to just go back to google docs, more work but less headache.

You can only scan 15 Hot Wheels. Then they expect a $30 purchase to continue scanning

I love the app don’t get me wrong but, the 15 car limit is absolutely ridiculous! 30 bucks for more space is insane for this. I know you guys are trying to make money but $30 is crazy.
  • Waste of my time

Went through all the trouble of scanning 15 barcodes just for it to beg me to spend 30 dollars for something I could format into microsoft

Why in the world would I pay $30 to keep track of my hotwheels, I was loving the app, until I tried to enter my 16th hotwheel and it’s talking about “you’ve reached your limit” I’m sure a lot of people including myself would like your app a lot better if you weren’t so money hungry and let people enjoy their hobbies
  • So much potential, such a hard fumble.

Most barcodes I’ve scanned have come back with no corresponding models and I am forced to manually scroll through images until I find what I’m looking for. I usually default to manual entry but searching returns EVERY car with that name and subsequently I have to click on each one in the list to find the correct match. After entering 200 cars I opened the app today and the database is blank. Only after uninstalling and reinstalling did I get the message that the servers were in maintenance mode. There should ABSOLUTELY be a local database that pairs with online database as it is insane to not have access to your collection Information if their servers are down. There should also be a maintained database of model images instead of relying on home photos of boxes laying on people’s dining room counters.
