    This was a great app for years. Then, with the invention of their pro membership, it’s become all but worthless. If you want to see the history of catches from bodies of water, you must pay. What baits are popular there? Pay. I liked being able to go back and see the history of catches at bodies of water. Being able to tell yourself that “hey, this species typically picks up around late April, while this one slows down in mid May” is huge. I’m very disappointed in the app. It still has a good community, but it has gone significantly downhill since its initial release

    I used to absolutely love this app being a 16 year old kid. I would go to south carolina and use it to help me in a location I didnt know where to fish. I cant afford a big monthly or yearly pay but the free version was nice it let u see catches near by. and see what their catching and thats all I needed. But nowadays they removed all that u have to pay 70! dollars a year just to see catches and to even have a marker on ur screen. Idc what anyone says this company is just a money grab. they would rather make money then helping a fishing community who just needs help finding spots. it used to be the best app to ever exist their wasnt a app like it because others made u pay for the catches log and to see what they caught and etc. but now they are just like the other silly little fishing apps. Im moving on and praying someday someone makes a app for fishing like fishbrain thats free for the fishing community. I just might make one just to run fish-brain out for their money grab mindset. If the developers needed money they could have went about it in a different way like ads or running sponsorships but now this company is slowly going to rot into a little company nobody cares about. I hope fishbrain can make a turn one day but until now 1 star

    This is a good app, but it’s been neutered so bad compared to last year. They’re taking away features just to increase paid subscribers. For example, where “My Area” used to allow me to view the fishing areas within about 30 minutes of my home, now the smallest “My Area” map is fishing locations within multiple hours of driving, unless you pay for a subscription, which pretty much makes the app useless to me.

    90% of the spots are private property or aren’t depicted accurately on the map. And the app obviously tells you none of this. I would recommend people download this app just so they can get the satisfaction of deleting it

    Every single location that I look at has pictures that are clearly from a different spot. I’m sure it’s from people adding the wrong info on purpose to mislead people and keep them out of their spots. This app is a cool idea but totally overloaded with wrong information.

    I bought this app an got some PB fish as well as a few trespassing charges! Half of the spots around me are someone’s backyard or a nature preserve that doesn’t allow fishing

    It’s more like a Facebook site for fishing. Won’t help you any with any actual fishing, but if you like taking pictures of your catch for others to see, then you would like this.
